Alnico V humbuckers give you bold, aggressive tone

Kramer equipped the Assault 220FR with a pair of Alnico V humbucking pickups to give you aggressive tone that hits your amplifier with plenty of strength. Humbuckers with Alnico V magnets are known to have an aggressive, punchy sound that's perfect for high-octane rock and metal. So no matter what amplifier or modeler you plug into, the Kramer Assault 220FR is primed to rock.

Floyd Rose tremolo gives you expressiveness and tuning stability

Shredding and wild whammy bar antics go hand in hand, so Kramer gave the Assault 220FR a smooth Floyd Rose tremolo bridge so you can squeal and divebomb all night long. And because it's got a locking nut, you'll maintain your tuning stability even when you're rocking your Assault 220FR as hard as you can.

Kramer Assault

Excellent sounds

Very good inexpensive guitar

I watched Paul from Guitar World demo this guitar online and it sounded very good for guitar less than 4.Mine has fixed bridge and stays in tune great. Fairly fast neck. One of my previous guitars was an Ibanez and the neck is comparably just as fast IMO. I bought an EVH Frankenstein humbucker to put in bridge position of this Kramer, but haven't installed yet. I'm pretty happy with this guitar. It's not a high end pro level guitar, but for the money, I think it's a good buy. I like the cut away where I can reach higher register without banging my big hand against the guitar body, like I did with my Explorer. Gave the Explorer to my nephew and he's loving it.
