Whether You're Looking or Listening, This Guitar Is Amazing

Let's cut right to it: the Taylor K24ce acoustic-electric guitar is simply an amazing-looking guitar. This guitar is the epitome of a luxury instrument, with incredible attention to detail and a perfect balance of artistry and craftsmanship. The K24ce's Hawaiian Koa back, sides, and top are finished with a Shaded Edgeburst stain that's incredibly dimensional. Indian rosewood binding on the body, fretboard, and headstock highlights the smooth lines of the Grand Auditorium shape. Factor in the Island Vine inlay on the fretboard, and you'll see why the Taylor K24ce acoustic-electric is such an amazing guitar.

Taylor K24ce Koa Series Acoustic-electric Guitar at a Glance:
  • Solid koa back, sides, and top for rich tone
  • Grand Auditorium body style gives you exceptional treble zing
  • Taylor Expression System 2 electronics deliver superior sound onstage
Solid koa back, sides, and top for rich tone

The Taylor K24ce has an all-koa body that combines the midrange richness of mahogany with the sparkling top end of maple. The Grand Auditorium body style further enhances the wide-ranging tone and excellent balance of the K24ce. And because all-solid tonewoods are used, the K24ce's tone will become richer and more complex as the years go by.

Grand Auditorium body style gives you exceptional treble zing

Taylor's beloved Grand Auditorium body style, featured on the K24ce, employs the width and depth of the dreadnought. But, its waist is narrower, which gives Grand-Auditorium-bodied acoustic guitars a sleeker look, with more treble zing. The body style also helps to sharpen the definition of each note. Ultimately, from fingerpicking to medium strumming, the Grand Auditorium is a great choice for nearly every playing style.

Taylor Expression System 2 electronics deliver superior sound onstage

If you play plugged in, then you're going to love the Taylor Expression System 2 (ES2) electronics built into your K24ce acoustic guitar. The key to this fantastic system is the 3-section proprietary pickup located behind the saddle. Because of where it's positioned and how it's integrated into the K24ce's saddle, the ES2 pickup provides you with remarkably clear and accurate sound. In addition to a master volume control, a pair of tone controls let you tweak your highs and lows to get the sound you need, and a discreet phase switch offers vital onboard feedback suppression.

Taylor K24ce Koa Series Acoustic-electric Guitar Features:
  • Koa Series Grand Auditorium guitar, with Hawaiian koa body and elegant appointments
  • Gorgeous Island Vine fretboard inlay
  • Ebony fretboard feels fast and smooth, further enhanced by the fretboard binding
  • Indian rosewood binding on body, fretboard, and headstock
  • Abalone soundhole rosette
  • Taylor Expression System 2 electronics provide exceptionally natural-sounding plugged-in tone
  • Hardshell case included

I absolutely love my new guitar. The sound is so balanced. The customer service is amazing.

Love Mine! Gorgeous guitar!

I waited a while to pull on one but once I did I didn't regret the choice! A Stunning guitar all around. aesthetically, playability and sound are all top notch. I haven't made too many adjustments to the action yet but out of the box it played amazingly. Comes with light gauge strings which were a little too flimsy for the style I play which is somewhat aggressive. I tried medium gauge which just didn't compliment the tonal qualities of the Koa. I switched to a medium light gauge Elixir which fit it perfectly. I can't wait for the Koa's tonal qualities to bloom with some more playing. I'm craving a little more bottom end from the guitar but I know that will come in time once the wood opens up a little. The looks of the guitar blow me away. Obviously if you buy a high end koa guitar like this you are chasing an instrument that is aesthetically pleasing. The guitar's appointments are classy. I was worried that the vine inlay might be a little too much but it's not. The rosette and bindings are very low key but are a perfect classy touch and compliment the overall theme off the koa. The Vine inlay tops off everything wonderfully with a very "Hawaiian'ish" type of vibe. The gold turners are a must and the gloss finish headstock with the inlay is a perfect touch. It's one of the most gorgeous guitars I've ever seen.Obviously I'm very pleased with the purchase and like always it's a pleasure doing business with Sweetwater. I can't wait to play my new K24 some more and I'm excited to see It's tonal properties bloom over time.

Purchase of Taylor K24 Flattop

The Taylor K24 fits right into my life. I have 2 Martin D28's, An Alvarez Yairi DY62, both of which are dreadnoughts, but the Taylor Grand Auditorium has a great feel, not to mention the tone achieved when finger picking. This is a really nice piece. I always wanted an instrument that was really, really nice and complemented my playing as I can be a little rough around the edges myself.Roq really went all out to get this guitar to me. I love it. Thanks again Sweetwater.
