    Simply Beautiful

I have been searching for quite a long time to upgrade from my $400 taylor guitar to something I can be very happy about owning and playing for my friends and family. I've learned this motto, "if you don't love it, don't buy it." That has worked out for me big time when finding my perfect guitar. And find it I did! The GA is just the right size and plays so beautiful right out of the box. This K24ce Koa series is a work of art and pictures do not do it justice. Sweet water customer service was awesome. I didn't expect such personal service. Also, I got the 24 months no interest financing, so I can play it at my upcoming wedding. I highly recommend this particular guitar, The Taylor Guitar company and only buying a guitar from Sweetwater.

    Outstanding guitar!

This guitar is incredible! I would look at it every day online until I purchased it from this website. I had heard that the koa wood had very inconstant tone qualities but when my k24ce arrived I played it and was immediately blown away. It has been a few months now and I am still in love with it! The pictures online don't do the guitar any justice! Mine looked a little dull online but when I see it in person it just shines and the koa wood really stands out! Very strong mids to this guitar, perfect for finger style players like myself, but it also sounds great when I beat on it with a pic. The warm tone keeps the high strings from being especially twangy, which I have noticed on my 814ce. Overall, beautiful instrument in every way!

    K24ce Koa Throughout

The GA is a great fit for easy finger picking styles. Sits a little closer to the body and cradles in the lap nicely. The sustain is awesome. Play a moderate strummed G and counted 10 seconds before the audibality of the ring finally faded. Each string stands out on its own. The balance of tone is incredible. Lows, mids and highs all stand out on their own and compliment the whole melody. Slightly hit any string only and little firmer and it begs a solo performance without drowning out any of the background. Extremely well balanced sound. I've always like to sing along with my finger picking, but I find myself fascinated by the clarity of each string and just sit back and absorb the sweetness of the tonal quality. Truly an outstanding guitar. Mine has a good bit of sap wood at the high and low bookend center connection on the back. I think this enhances the sound as it was the clearest sounding Koa at the Taylor Roadshow. I had to trade in the 8-string bariton for it as it was a bit pricy... but well worth the bucks. A good cognac is worth the extra dollars for the sensual palate pleasures ~ the K24ce was worth the extra dough for its shear audio excellece. Music soothes the savage beast - the range and precision of this instrument eases any tense state.

    Beaiful Guitar!

The tone is great. I was worried because I'd read about the variance in tone in the Koa Taylor's. Mine sounds great - I love it! And just to point this out, the pictures don't do justice to how beautiful this guitar is. Such a great guitar! I'm not disappointed one bit!

    sweet guitar

shopped for a new guitar for several months, playing different guitars at different stores. I thought the K24ce was a gorgeous instrument, but I wanted to play one as I read a lot about inconsistency in the tone of the wood and lack of richness of sound.
I played two different ones, and the sound was decidedly different - one was a bit tinny but the one I bought sounded and played amazing. This is a special guitar in look and sound, although the 914ce has a little bigger sound if that's what you're looking for and about the same price...
