    Fender Jaguar

I own a 1962 strat and a 1959 gibson accoustic ...great guitars the jaguar is the perfect compliment easy to finger and the sound is enough to bring you back to the mid 60's beatle/ beach boys era. the guys at" sweets" are great ; makes online shopping a breeze too. I had my stuff in 2 days, great deal no shipping.

    HH Jaguar

This is a great guitar if you are interested in a short scale fender. I've had strats and teles and this inst that far away from those two with just a short scale. The tones are a little different then other fender models but i found the tone to be a lot more versicle. The bridge is horrible though, the strings constantly slip on the saddles but with a little work it is all fixable. The neck was the most important part for me and i found it be light and fast after i scotch brited it a little.

    Great Guitar. Does It All

Fantastic for the price. Very versatile. Classic Rock to vintage Surf tones. Great neck. Lots of room on the upper frets. Well done, Fender. I'e paid a couple grand for Strats, and I like this better.

    Great playing guitar

This guitar feels great to play. I've got smallish hands and the 24" scale and smaller nut width make this thing a dream to play. The pickups really surprised me too. I was expecting to want to switch them out with some Pearly Gates or something similar, but the Enforcer pickups these come with sound great. The trem system being brought closer to the bridge also seems to have fixed some of the weird feedback I've encountered on other Jaguars.

Now why I didn't give it 5 stars. The biggest problem I have with this guitar is that the truss rod adjustment is at the base of the neck instead of the modern top of the neck design. Combine that with the adjusted neck pocket on this guitar and it becomes nearly impossible to adjust the truss rod without removing the scratch plate and even after it is removed the truss rod is still really hard to get at.

The other minor gripe I have is that the kill switch seems redundant. Since each pickup has an on/off switch I don't really see the need of a kill switch. What may have been nicer would have been a three way pickup selector switch and then the kill switch would be nice.

When all is said and done though I am very happy with this guitar.
