I bought an Olympic White JTV69S a couple of months ago and the quality is as good as any guitar I have owned. I have had Les Paul Customs, a G&L Skyhawk, a Music Man Sabre II, and a number of other guitars. I have always been partial to a Strat sound, but I don’t care for the 9 ½” radius fingerboard. The JTV69S has the Strat sound with a 12” radius fingerboard which I find to be very comfortable.I played electric guitar in a band for 21 years, but for the last 13 years I have been playing solo as a guitarist/vocalist with an acoustic-electric guitar. Recently I decided to get another electric guitar so I could do some of the songs I used to do and be able to get the various tones that were necessary. I was not looking forward to carrying an extra guitar along to have the variety of sounds. With all the guitar models in the JTV69S I can use one guitar and get the out-of-phase sounds, various other guitar sounds, and still do the acoustic songs. I use a Fender Mustang 3V amplifier with a 4 button footswitch. I use the ’65 Twin amp model and use one setting for the basic guitar sounds, another for the acoustic sounds, and a third one with chorus. This is an extremely well-made and versatile guitar and I would highly recommend it.

Line 6 JTV-69 (OLY WHITE, SSS, RW board)

Comfortable neck, VERY stable tuning with tremolo use, and a very cool modern take on the S-style guitar. The mag pickups sound great. The model voices are stunning. I particularly like the ES-175 setting: the tonal nuances are spot on. The banjo and 12 string settings are very useable. Based on the playability, looks, tone, and overall build quality, I see no reason to buy the American version unless you just enjoy over-tipping!

Line 6 JTV-69 - Olympic White

Totally impressed with the guitar and the build quality. I like the flat fast neck in my Ibanez RG350 and I was concerned that I wouldn't like the 12 " radius of this neck. But I like it, it's a little tight at the top of the neck because I have thick fingers but it's pretty good. All The modelings are amazing, I can't tell you how much I enjoy just going through all of them playing the same song just to see how how different it sounds. I also bought the Line 6 spider jam amp and that even doubles the fun I'm having. I also have a Martin DX-1 and it's been collecting dust the last few weeks, I'm in love with the acoustic sounds that come out of this guitar! Not to mention it having all of my favorite tunings that I can dial up in a second, it's crazy! My only complaint is that if you leave the rechargeable battery in the guitar, even with everything turned off , in two days your battery will be uncharged. Not sure if that is a problem with just my guitar or its a design flaw. So I take the battery out and leave it sit out when I'm done. It comes with two and I always have one in the charger ready to go so it's not a big deal, but it shouldn't drain out like that if it's not being used.
