Joe's signature body style is amazingly comfortable to play

The smooth contours of the Ibanez JS140 Joe Satriani Signature guitar don't just look sweet, they make for a comfortable playing experience no matter how you wear your guitar. And you won't feel the guitar digging into your forearm no matter how you play. And the more you play the JS140, the more "right" it feels.

Edge Zero II tremolo bridge gives you solid performance and stability

The JS140's Edge Zero II bridge with Zero Point System was designed by Ibanez to give you the fast tremolo response and snap you need to pull off sharp bends and flutters. The extreme stability of this knife-edge-style trem's stud lock function is also one of the many reasons it's a favorite among many of today's top shredders. If you're looking for a guitar that can stand up to long playing sessions without losing its tuning, you're going to love the Ibanez JS140.

Coil tapping for twice the tonal range

With its pair of high-output humbuckers, the Ibanez JS140 is ready to make any guitar amplifier sing or scream with powerful, beefy tone. And if you need the snap and chime you can only get from single-coil pickups, just tug on the push/pull tone switch. Between these pickups, coil tapping, three-way switching and your volume and tone controls, there's a whole world of tone to explore with the Ibanez JS140.

Ibanez JS140 Joe Satriani Signature Solidbody Electric Guitar Features:
  • Joe Satriani Signature guitar, designed for maximum playability and tonal diversity
  • Powerful, wide-ranging tone from Infinity RD (neck) and Quantum (bridge) humbucking pickups
  • Push/pull coil-tap greatly expands your sonic options

Js 140

Got my JS 140 last week, and I'll have to say that the Rg 350 or 450 for 399.00 is a much better value. The neck on the Js 140 has a cheap feel to it. Pick ups in my opinion are good, no complaints there. Since it arrived I've had to try to adjust it to get the buzz out of the high end frets. I've been playing guitar for 30 years and I've honestly played some 250.00 Squiers that play as well. This guitar unfortunately is not a 799.00 value. The JS 140 should be priced alot lower for the lack of craftsmanship put into it.

Js 140

Love the body contours ,pickups sound pretty good, neck feels cheap, like that of a Squier. I've owned the guitar about 4 weeks now and it still will not hold good tune. I believe this is the biggest disappointment in buying a guitar I've had in over 30 years. You would not catch Satriani playing a guitar of this nature. This guitar is the quality of a 300.00 guitar. Do not pay the full price like I did, assuming it was a JS 140 with the Satriani signature and it wood be of good quality. Sweetwater sells some good guitars, but for the price even if you're an Ibanez lover, check this guitar off your list.
