    JJP Bundle

These plug in / emulations are on everything I do. The Fair Child alone is worth the price of admission.

    Great plugins, great sound!

This plugins are ones of my favorite collections, and for a great price. Just put the plugins on any track and the difference is notable. I like the accuracy of this plugins, they have a great sound, analog sound. You wouldn't be disappointed.

    Really good

Very very good for a plug-in. I don’t know many people who have actually used a real fairchild but most people I know who have pultecs were surprised how close these got. No ones throwing their units away just yet but I think these take us a big step forward. As for JJP he’s a modern day legend but I didn’t need the name to buy these. Id rather they do what they did with Tony Maseratti and just give us his sound.

    Works great

I primarily use the Kramer PIE compressor. But sometimes it's a little too aggressive. When I need something a little more subtle, the Fairchild 670 usually does the trick.

    Great Native Tools

Great compression & eq for the project studio owner who cant afford a pultec & fairchild. Consider these snapshots or archives of a known vet's personal gear. Fairchild & Pultec are a match made in heaven. Plugin on your master bus or on instruments/ vocals. Can't Go Wrong. Alot different from UAD2 DSP version. Great Investment.

    really good

I've never used the actual gear that these are modeled after, so I have no idea if they are a good emulation or not, but I will say that these plugins work exceptionally well. The EQs especially.

The EQ plug-ins have a way of boosting/attenuating (which you can do simultaneously?) that sounds really smooth and natural. Previously I had only ever used waves REQ and H-EQ and the JJPs are a very noticeable upgrade from those.

I like the compressor but I don't find it as useful. Not having control over the attack or release times can be a little frustrating. When you do happen to find a compressor setting that works well on a track it sounds great, but I've found that, more often than not, the settings I'm looking for don't fall within the parameters of the attack/release options that you're given, which is only 6 choices for both attack and release combined. It would be cool if waves released a version of this exact plug-in except they gave you complete control over the attack/release settings. I'd say, all in all, it's still worth having in the collection though and the EQs alone are worth the cost of the entire bundle anyway in my opinion.

    Pultec plus

I bought this, strictly for the Pultecs, as UA hasn't seen ftr to release AAX plugins yet. There are very good simulations of the renowned EQs, with the delightful added feature of output gain - which helps enormously if you are doing some insane boosting of frequencies; as well as some good presets. I haven't really found the compressor to be to my liking, but I really don't care.
