Squire Bass

My first instrument and it is great. Those that have many years playing have marveled how nice it is, well made, neck perfect, fit and finish. Sound is excellent. Sweetwater did a great job on set up an inspection. Would highly recommend.

Excellent Bass

Great bass for the money. I was skeptical at first but it has a great neck. The sound is fantastic as well. I know its cosmetic but i love the maple neck with bar inlay. I'm not a fan of dot inlay. i would recommend it to anyone looking for a great entry level or price sensitive bass. Not to mention the incredible service i got from sweetwater.

Awesome for the money

Got this bass yesterday and I couldn't be more pleased. I currently own an original 75 American Precision and it's a great second bass to compliment it. I always wanted a Jazz, but never wanted to spend that kind of cash. This thing has great tone combinations and the bass dosen't look cheap like I thought it would. First order from Sweetwater too, and I must say that the rep Ian called to let me know it was on the way and asked if I had any questions. Seems like they will have good customer service. I will probably be using this for my primary bass now.

Extemely Pleased!

This was my first online purchase of a guitar, so I had some reservations about buying an instrument without holding it in my hands first. Thankfully, I ended up getting a great instrument. The finish on the frets was beautiful, almost on par with my USA P bass...definitely better than some MIM Fender's that I have played in the store. Overall a great looking and nicely put together bass at a great price point!

This is one fine bass guitar. I know weights vary, but I held out and got this one at 7lbs and 2 ounces! It feels like im not even wearing it over my shoulder. 4 stars because it has a few flaws, some not some well dressed frets towards the bottom of the neck but i rarely play there. It also seems like the binding was sanded or something under the 12th fret. Other than that I couldnt be happier. The finish is gorgeous and looks like it would cost as much as the bass if you were to refinish another bass in this color. It plays like a dream and the pickups are fairly quiet. I strung it with some la bella flats and they sound great with this bass. The neck is very nice, fast and smooth, almost like the geddy neck. I have gotten very low action with no shims or problems. Great tone frome this bass and I find the pots to be very smooth with a nice linear taper. Tuners look cheap, but hold a tune great.
