Do You Feel Like I Do!

I purchased this purely for covering StillWater's "MindBender" without having to use a slobber box, and it works way better than expected. Being on the low end of EH's vocoder range i was not sure if it would meet my needs, but it did excellent. We are now covering some Frampton tunes as well.

    Electro Harmonix Rules

For many years I wounder how to make my keyboard patches sing. First I ordered a talkbox from sweetwater. I have had it for about 2 years it works great but I like the IRON LUNG VOCODER better because to my point of view it sounds cleaner then my talkbox but gives me that talkbox sound mix with a autotune type synth voice. Another thing is my words are clearer on the Electro Harmonix Iron Lung and you don't have to worry about a talkbox having your spit slide down the tube than into the speaker. This problem messed many of my performances up. To rapp it up the elh iron lung is portable but a pro.
easy to pack for gigs. I would like to Thank Austin Moss for always helping me with my music needs. I'm looking to buy a 2nd elh iron lung vocoder this year! :)

    extremely pleased for the money!

I am really loving this thing, Its a compact vocoder pedal with minimal options and a great sound. Featuring the same vocoding processing as some of EH's larger voice processors without the whistles and bells. Aside from the fact that im a gear junky and love to experiment with effects, the main reason I bought this pedal is becuase I just started playing in a new cover band and we will be doing some songs where we need the effect (daft punk's Get Lucky for example). It gets the job done extremely well, seems to be built pretty sturdy (ive only had if for a few months). Between the "Tone" and the "Gender Bender" knobs, you can do a decent amount of tweaking. The only tricky part about using this pedal is balancing the Mic Gain with your mic placement and not getting the signal too hot or too low. With a minimal amount of time you should have it all sounding pretty sweet! Not surprisingly Steph and Sweetwater had my gear to me before I even expected it!
