Groundbreaking IPR Series: Lightweight, efficient, reliable

The IPR 7500 DSP is a member of Peavey's impressive IPR Series. Peavey went the extra mile in designing this exciting line of power amplifiers. For starters, each IPR Series power amp boasts an extremely light weight; the lightest IPR weighs under seven pounds! Adding to that, Peavey managed to increase output power, reliability, and thermal efficiency, so the IPR 7500 DSP and all the IPR Series power amps are ready for the most professional of rigs. Each is designed with a resonant switch-mode power supply as well as a high-speed class D topology, yielding incredibly high audio resolution and efficiency.

Built-in DSP lets you recall EQ, delay, and crossover settings

Apart from the appeal of being lightweight, the Peavey IPR 7500 DSP also sports high-quality built-in digital signal processing. You can use the 32-bit DSP to assign program-specific EQ presets, making it easy to handle common sound-reinforcement EQ treatments. Plus, you can adjust delays, crossover, and stereo/mono settings. The settings are accessed via a front-panel LCD screen. There are even security features, so you can lock your system settings during performances.

Peavey's DDT speaker-protection circuitry suite

On top of all-out innovation, the Peavey IPR 7500 DSP also offers Peavey's exclusive DDT speaker-protection system, with multi-point clip sampling as well as DC, Temp, Signal, and Active safeguards (all of which are referenced on the front panel via LED indicators). We've run countless live shows here at Sweetwater, and we can confirm that IPR series amplifiers have the reliability and features you need in a demanding live sound situation.

Superb AMp

I purchased this amp to drive a Peavey QW218 Sub. I really like the light weight of the unit as all of my others are quite heavy. The built-in crossover came in handy as the crossover I had in my rack is not the greatest. I hired someone to come in and setup/tune to my needs and the only thing he mentioned having trouble with was getting it tuned down under 8 ohms. This Amp has power to spare and I'm driving a 6400 Program sub. I will likely purchase a second one.
