Sick

these Strings are awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Inconsistent, sounds dead, coating flakes off. Does not live up to their sales pitch

I've been using DR on and off for a few years. When they are on, they're awesome. Unfortunately consistency isn't something they can deliver. This is especially true with the Neons. While they tout on their website "sounds just as good, if not better than uncoated strings" what they deliver is woefully short. The lower set of strings sound like they've been dead for months, and the high E is already flaking after 20 minutes of playing; another failed statement. Do they look cool? Without a doubt, absolutely! Sound and product consistency: they fall very short of the mark. For some reason the yellows are with the "better" parameters, although with just about every other color; their only consistency is that they are the exact opposite of what they advertise. DR needs to work on their quality control. As with anything else, don't make a statement you can't live up to.
