Best Value in a TWO by TEN cab

At this price, there is nothing that beats it. I have tried them all.It is VERY sturdy! The recessed handles are rock solid. The recessed input plate is heavy duty too. Metal corners and grill insure professional protection. No rattles. Internal bracing is robust.Having said that, i will point out a few little things:It is heavy. In the old days, I would have thought nothing about carrying a 60 pound cab. Now older, I appreciate transportable cabs. This is still light enough for most guys and certainly is small enough to fit in a small car. Just be aware... This is classic old-school construction with REAL thick plywood, not that MDF stuff you see on most other low-cost cabs. You may want to use a small collapsable hand-cart if you move it often from gig to gig.It has no tweeter. For Jazz gigs and old-school funk, rock, motown, that is perfect. The only players who might object to having no tweeter would be the thumb & pop players who need that extra high-end.This is a great sounding classic cab that is now WAY underpriced since many early adopters are buying the new light-weight NEO speaker designs. Those modern designs CAN be good, but are often just cheapened versions that rely on light-weight components so they can get away with cheaper plywood, or worse, MDF. If you are looking for the best value and fantastic long-term reliability, this is a great choice. You'd be hard-pressed to even buy two decent bass speakers (plus shipping) at this price, let alone get such a solid cab. Awesome bargain... snatch one or two while you still can!
