HardWire TR-7 Tremolo and Rotary Pedal Reviews

I'll keep it short and to the point. If you need a tremolo pedal, this will do the trick and then some. It's built like a navy destroyer (didn't want to coin that other phrase...you know the one) It is a bit larger in size than my Boss and Ibanez pedals so bear that in mind if you must. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because the modify knob does not seem to do as much as I would expect from all the way down to all the way up, but not a reason to forego this amzing pedal from Digitec. The TR-7 delivers all the "Trem" you'll ever need

    Duo-Trem a nice feature.

A stereo tremolo. With a setting for two trems at once at different rates. That allows lots of sonic landscape possibilities. Throw in the vibro-pan, and this is a lot more than just a trem pedal. And the construction, value, and high headroom are all icing. I've owned this pedal for quite a while, and I never get tired of it.

Great stereo tremolo and lots more

I love great slow subtle tremolo and have been frustrated with classic analog pedals flaws... noisy switches, volume loss, limited rate and depth controls... The TR 7 resolves all these issues in sturdy gigworthy package. I really enjoy the spacial sweep with the stereo outputs into 2 low watt amps spread at 90-120* apart... It really opens up the sound with the Trem and Rotary speaker settings

    Stereo Trem/Rotary Rocks

Playing an Epiphone Anniversary SG into two 5 watt amps ay 90 degree angles sounds great... The Rotary and Univibe sounds are great too.

    Great Pedal

This is a great little pedal for what it's designed to do. I tried to go cheap for the Leslie effect and wasn't totally let down but it wasn't as superior a sound as I exoected. It's a good tone but just not as detailed as I expected. Now the tremlo features are great. I think the duo vibe and pan are kind of useless bc it's just strange to me but the modeling and emulations are great. It sounds like the smoothest sound when ran through my vox ac-30. Great pedal overall better than many other tremlo and even almost as perfect as vox's built in trem. My only downside to this is perhaps it could be a bit cheaper or either a little more design into the Leslie sound. Nice glow in the dark footpad cover and tone-lock device is also helpful to save your settings.

    Tap Tremolo

I really have enjoyed having this pedal. All the tremolo sounds are great. You can tap the tempo in, turn the pedal off and when you turn it back on it remains the same speed (unless you turn the nob or re-tap). I dropped it to a 4.0 only because a few of the settings can come off a little too compressed. However, most of the time you can tweak the nobs to relieve the compression and still have the sound you're looking
for. The vibe effect is particularly sweet.
