Spitfire Audio Hans Zimmer Percussion HZ01 London Ensembles gives you the definitive arsenal of hybrid cinematic percussion ensembles. Produced by the inimitable Mr. Zimmer, who virtually created the idiom, HZ01 was recorded by Geoff Foster at Air Studios, London, and mixed by four Grammy-winning composer/producers. The sessions feature Hz's hand-selected percussion corps, and the results yield over ten years' worth of musical innovation. It's a re-creation - rather than an imitation - of techniques you've heard in films such as Gladiator, Black Hawk Down, The Dark Knight, and Inception. Take it from Sweetwater - whether you're scoring for widescreen, TV, or games, Spitfire Audio Hans Zimmer Percussion Vol. 1 is essential.

Definitive Zimmer percussion on tap

In Hans Zimmer Percussion HZ01, Spitfire Audio has put the legendary composer's trailblazing (and much-emulated) approach to cinematic percussion on tap for you. HZ01 was recorded in Hz's preferred studio (Air Studios, London), with the same musicians, instruments, signal chain, and talented engineers. What's more, the project was overseen in every detail by Hans himself. This obsessive attention to detail yields perfection - but also the tweakability and customization you'd expect from a master soundsmith such as Hans Zimmer.

Biggest Most Tweakable Cinematic Drums out there

I bought this over a year ago and am still finding new things these drums can do. These drums are simply the most powerful, deeply sampled drums you'll get for cinematic percussion. It only has about 25 drums in here, but each one is the best of the best (rather than having 200 you'll never use). Since I've started tuning these, I'm finding that what you get in the box is only a fraction of what these drums can do.
