    Great Cabinet, Great Service!

I recently purchased the Ampeg Heritage SVT-410 Bass Cabinet with Horn with the padded cover and I'm literally blown away with the classic Ampeg sound and looks. I had researched 410 cabs thoroughly from several different brands and narrowed my list to the Ampeg and Aguilar. I'm familiar with Ampeg sound and tone having owned one many years ago. All the info and reviews for the Aguilar 410 was very positive but I have never owned any of their products. After discussing with my Sweetwater Sales Engineer, Nicholas Weaver multiple times I decided on the Heritage 410. I received the cabinet and cover in perfect condition as always from Sweetwater, 2 days after placing my order and quickly "dialed it in" with my Peavey Mini Mega head and used it in a four hour gig two days later. What a great experience and sound from my Fender 5 string P bass. Plenty of low end growl and excellent tone control with the adjustable horn. I can not be more pleased with this purchase and help from Sweetwater. I have purchased several items from these guys and come to realize Nicholas and Sweetwater are the best! Thanks, and almost forgot, the padded cover adds nice protection and fits like a glove.

    The best 4x10 hands down!

I've had many cabinets and played through many cabinets. I was always left wanting that something I couldn't find. That was until I played through one of these. The one I played through was several years old. However I loved it so much bought my own. I've heard it said that this cabinet has a muddy low end.

That just isn't true. This cabinet paired with a SVT3 Pro just kicks major back side! Total thunder like the voice of God himself! If you want to be heard and want to cut through in the mix, you need this cabinet. The construction on this thing is absolutely impeccable!

In short, Ampeg got it right!

I didn't even have to question the US made Eminence speakers. Which by the way is one of the reasons I purchased this cabinet over some other ones in the Ampeg line. What I was concerned about was if the tweeter would be shrill sounding as I've heard on many newer production cabinets from various manufactures.

I'm happy to report that it was creamy smooth just like the older unit I played through. It's detailed but not shrill or harsh in any way. (THANK GOD!)

All the 1/4" jacks and Speakon jacks are solid and lock up like a bank vault. The casters are a nice added touch along with the drag handle on the back. Be aware that the dimensions currently posted on the Sweetwater site are a little off. This cabinet is actually 30 3/8" tall!

This is the best 4x10 cabinet I've ever heard or owned. The quality is readily obvious when you see it. But it's not until you play through it that you truly realize why it costs so much. I tried the less expensive Ampeg 4x10 cabinets. Although good in their own right, they don't sound like the Heritage line!

I will never part with this cabinet. Spend the extra money and get the Heritage. It might cost you a little more up front but it will be the last cabinet you will ever need.

    Buy once and cry once!

(I wish I would have learned to do that many years ago!)

I have been wanting this Cab, for years...just didn't want to turn loose of the scratch...finally got off my butt, and with the help of the 3 pay, from Sweetwater, I gave in. I cant describe the difference it has made in my sound. I use and older Ampeg SVT III, head, and a Behringer rack-mount Vamp, mainly for the clean settings, but this cab, holds true to the Ampeg name...I'm old school, low down...love the bottom end, but want it clean, with no "Mud"...even with flat wounds, it's mellow, but low...and with the tunable horn, you can dial in anything you want.....Wish I hadn't waited so long...all together it's well worth the investment!

Received my cab on time, i test it and it sounded really bad ( a buzzing sound comming out of it). I called Sweetwater and within three days i received a replacement. I been buying from them two years already and they surprice me every time. Thanks!

    Ampeg is the best

I bought this along with my new ampeg head and the sound and quality blows me away. This has to be the best 410 cab on the market. Thanks Ampeg and Sweetwater.

Arguably the best 4x10 on the planet

The cabinet (like the older American made 410HLFs) is awesome! Itís arguably the best 4x10 on the planet. The low end makes your balls rattle!! As normal, great service from Sweetwater (Robert). Spend the extra $ís and buy this!
