I have always believed in shopping locally in an effort to support my home town's financial well being, but I can't get the unbelievable customer service that Sweetwater provides! I purchased a fender blues deluxe reissue locally. It was already opened and on display. It was nice to be able to play through the amp so I could have a conversation with it before I made my decision as to whether or not it was for me. I also didn't mind that other people played through this amp as well (saved me the time to break it in). What bothered me was two years later I was visiting Sweetwater online and noticed that there was an extension cabinet availabe for this amplifier. (My local store never informed me of this!) So of course I ordered it immediately from Sweetwater. As usual I get it pronto in the original factory box with a few little extras (cord...etc sweetwater's way of saying thanks), follow up emails, and phone calls from Bob Mondock inquiring about my satisfaction and offering his complete assistance with any questions I may have. The first thing I noticed is that this cabinet came with a factory fender protective cover compliments of Fender. Sure enough after researching my amp I discovered that it ships with a cover as well. The employees working for my local musical instrument retailer didn't even take the time to make sure I received everything that came with my amp let alone any extras! This has changed my whole way of thinking. You don't deserve my business just because we happen to call the same peice of real estate home, you earn a right to my business by professional, ethical, and fair customer service before during and after the sale. Sweetwater is leaps ahead of their competition locally as well as nationally in every aspect of the musical field! They know their product, customers, and everything in between. By far this is the best company I have ever done business with musical or otherwise and I am 45 years old so I have a little experience in this department! Sweetwater has earned my undying trust, loyalty and admiration through a lot of hard work and committment to excellence on their part! Thank you Sweetwater and thank you Bob. You have a loyal customer here in Michigan. As long as your doors are open, I'll know where to go for my musical needs and questions!
