Good for the Price

I have used these off and on in the studio for tracking and reference for several years. They are okay for the money, but I would suggest saving up a bit more for a better pair if you're looking for really quality monitoring. They work well for tracking, and that is what they are designed for. Don't mix with headphones - ever. Pros: The swivel earpiece is very nice for vocals in the studio as you can have an "ear off" side very easily and comfortably. The closed back is solid and does not allow sound "bleed" onto your track. The sound quality is nice for mid-range and highs, particularly suited well for vocals. Cons: The fit around your head is very tight, even if you have a small head. That can give you a headache after a couple hours of wear. The headband itself is prone to snap if you stretch it too far, so loosening that up a bit isn't an option. Overall quality is minimal for a studio headphone, but okay on a budget.
