Optimal Design for Studio Sessions

A pair of Sennheiser’s HD 400 Pro Studio Reference Headphones is the perfect studio companion to accompany you during your recording, editing, mixing, and mastering sessions. With its open-back design, 120-ohm unique polymer-blend transducer diaphragm, and high-power drive magnet and damping system, the HD 400 Pro’s internal engineering proves reliable time and time again for deeper bass, quality distortion migration, and a natural and accurate listening experience. This superior sound can be partially attributed to its open earcups and angled transducer design, revealing a wide soundstage that works to replicate the optimal listening positions of the top recording studios in the business. Producers here at Sweetwater also appreciate how Sennheiser keeps quality construction and comfort at the forefront, offering a lightweight but durable housing with soft velour earpads to make those longer sessions more bearable. You also receive an assortment of cables with the HD 400 Pro, ensuring compatibility with multiple sources while you work.

Very Nice
Works as advertised.

Simply fantastic
These are simply fantastic in every way for editing, mixing, and mastering with headphones… and they are very, very comfortable for long sessions. I would highly recommend the HD 400, and Sweetwater is; of course, the best.

My expectations are met
Got this recently and so far very happy with my investment. Using it with Dearvr, to me it a complete solution for monitoring.

Also keep in mind, the HD 400 Pro is different sounding from the 560s which are manufactured after Jan 2023.

Lightweight & comfortable
These open back headphones seem to have a flat frequency response and allow me to hear my surroundings while mixing.
It feels more like listening to monitors than being isolated with earbuds or something.
Comfortable and light enough to wear for a while without fatigue.
Music background: Drums, live sound & recording

I love them
I really love these headphones. Glad I bought them. They are perfect for mixing and do not give ear fatigue plus they're not too expensive. Will see how long they hold up.

And of course a BIG shoutout to Sweetwater. Been using these guys for I think over a decade and they never miss when it comes to customer satisfaction. Thank you Jānis Spunde and your whole team!
