    Blown away

I had to purchase the legend to see what all the hype was about and I must say I'm very impressed by the clarity and bass on these headphones. Just enough of everything you need in a good set of headphones. Isolation is more than average as well especially in loud noise environments. Get them, they are the truth.

    Alan Say's "Buy IT!"

I own an old pair of Sennheiser HD-10's that I bought back in the 80's and they still Sound awesome. So when I embarked on a Home Recording Studio, It Only made sense to stay with something I've had great performance from and that was Sennheiser. The HD-25 head phones Sound like a million bucks and are so lightweight that you'll forget you have them on. If you are into Recording etc. you'll Love the HD-25. I have several other pair of namebrand headphones, but my favorite is the HD-25

    Remote Wonders

My 'go-to' headphones for remote recording. They provide an uncolored, precise sound w/admirable isolation allowing you to distinguish between ambient noise and system self-noise (a troubleshooter's dream). Although not designed for over-extended listening sessions, the combination of split headband and superior ear cups can make them feel 'right' and comfortable enough for a location boom-op or a half-day's studio session wear. The 'mic-boom' version of these are currently (c.2010) the industry standard for on-camera sportscasters.

    Amazing sound and solid isolation

Great set of headphones. Bought them for the noise isolation which is pretty solid but ended up loving the sound. Now I not only use them when djing, but I also like their sound when mixing in Pro Tools. Very crisp highs with bass that holds its own but isn't overwhelming. Only complaint is that my ears get fatigued after wearing them for a few hours.

    Nice Pair

Decent sound but not spectacular, good isolation, comfortable and small, good for DJing and mixdowns, decent output, you get what you pay. cable is not detachable.

    Nice, fragile

These perform just as advertised. I will warn that they are very fragile. I've had mine less than six months and between topples off my desk or cable snags the left can will occasionally drop signal. I don't know if the thin cable is compromised or the terminal in the can assembly has taken damage.
