The no brainer cymbal stand. The only stand you need to get.

It's straight stand, it's a boom stand. It's big and sturdy. It also has a toothless tilter which means you can tilt the top of the stand in virtually any way you want. No more issue where the teeth don't match the angle you want!!! You can angle it any way you please! Plus the stands have the quick release nuts. So you just squeeze the red tabs and lift and put back down without have to sit there and turn the nut forever to take cymbals off and on.

I see absolutely no reason to buy any other type of stand for you set with exception to a high hat stand! I bought 3 of them, one for ride and 2 crash.

Oh and they're 75 bucks for all this! It's really is a no brainer.

    Outstanding stand...

I'm very pleased with this stand. I currently have three of them. I haven't purchased cymbal stands in almost twenty years and they've come a long way since. The legs open and close smoothly, the boom arm fits within the tube assembly so you can use it as a straight stand. The nylon sleeve is reversible so you get double the lifespan from that. The tilt assembly under the neck is wholly adjustable, no more having to choose between one of two teeth (amazing how it always seemed to be the angle in between two teeth that you wanted). I was worried that the neck wouldn't be reliable using that method, but it's very sturdy and haven't seen a cymbal dip or sag at all, even when I put up the 22" ride at an angle. Lastly, no more metal wingnuts to clamp down the cymbal, if you use those (I don't on most cymbals). The tops have a quick release so you can just pinch the sides and it comes right off, but is still threaded so if you want to choke down on a cymbal you can.

All around excellent cymbal stand. I bought the one with counter-balance for extending a larger cymbal over a great span. But unless you need to span a very heavy cymbal a long ways, these are great, and for the price, I don't think they can be beat.

    Tama HC73BWN Boom Stand

The quality and value of the Roadpro series is great! Ideal for larger cymbals. I've got two 20 in Meinl MB10 heavies which balance well on these boom stands!

Need an unusual angle, this stand can do it...

Tama Roadpro Series Stands are all that... Very rugged, sturdy, look great, and reasonably priced. I have 4 of them in my kit plus a few other Mapex stands..
