My first 7 string!

This was my first 7 string guitar and boy is it amazing. I received the guitar with the action a little to low and there was quite a bit of buzzing but that was a very simple fix and now the action is perfect, very low without any buzzing. The neck is extremely thin which is perfect. I have rather large hands and this neck is just flawless. The frets are very smooth and very good for bends. the fret board is pretty much flat and I love that because its great for sweep picking. The inlays are awesome I really like how they are offset so it doesn't effect the tone. The emgs scream! great for distortion and pinchies. The fixed bridge stays in tune very well i very seldomly have to tune the strings. I personally love this guitar and i will be a customer of esp/ltd for a very long time!

Love it

This is my first 7 string baritone guitar. I have a normal 6 string baritone and wondered about the advantages of a 27" scale 7 string. The only issue I had was the initial set up required more intonation adjustments and the guitar strings were poorly strung. With the corrected bridge/height adjustments and a set of new strings...Wow! This guitar plays like butter. I've never used active EMG pickups and I love them! I'm a blues, moderate clean tone player. This guitar will easily handle clean sounds but with lead high gain it roars with deep guttural tones.
