Impressive! Easy! Great sound! Just a bit cranky.

I'm using Sugar Bytes Virt Guitarist with Logic Pro on an iMac 5k (32g ram). It programs like a basic software synth or plays via midi/usb keyboard. The sound is pretty realistic. Not perfect, but close. Adding Logic Pro amp filters make it even better. Good enough for composing scores or commercial music beds. Because I prefer to work with real musicians, I plan to use it mostly for composing/recording demo stuff. It's pretty amazing for the price. The only downside is that it crashes occasionally (hence the 4.5 score) while playing live (on M-Audio controller). I'm hoping this problem will be fixed in an update. Until then, save often. Great for recording/studio environments (composing tracks and loops), maybe not so great for use in a gig setting. Overall, it's a super handy plug-in. Worth the price. I'd definitely recommend. -wt
