Travel Light, While Protecting Your Guitar

You want to travel light. Sweetwater gets that - which is why we recommend the Guitar Sleeve, from MONO. The Guitar Sleeve is a minimalist take on the venerable gig bag, but with a few tricks up its, ahem, sleeve. The super-slim, stylish Guitar Sleeve loads from the top, so you can extract your axe and re-sheath it in seconds flat, all while standing. Your guitar receives the premium protection of MONO's patented Headlock neck suspension system and EVA insole that keeps your instrument's body off the ground and keeps your strap pin from bottoming out.

Convenient features and rugged construction

The MONO Guitar Sleeve features a messenger-bag-style storage pouch that's ideal for a small laptop, tablet, notebook, cables and other accessories you might need when traveling light, while a small interior mesh pocket keeps smaller items within easy reach. Rugged construction, including a riveted handle, double steel zippers, and a custom steel buckle that secures the storage pouch gives you extreme durability, while a water-resistent shell lets you travel freely, impervious to the elements.

MONO Rocks

I've got 5 MONO cases. They protect the instruments really well and are well constructed. I even have the ukulele one...

Where do you keep your Guitarmies? In your Sleevies!

I bought one of these sleeves in May 2016, and came back this month for another one! I am thoroughly impressed with the following features: - Build quality: After a few months of taking my guitars from home to work every day for the past two months, the guitars I've been transporting have suffered no bumps, bruises, etc. at all. Protective padding is more than sufficient for light travel. Road warriors may want the Vertigo model or a hard shell case. Headlock keeps the guitar aligned correctly whenever the bag is zipped up, and top/bottom protection is near perfect. While I wouldn't bounce this bag on the floor intentionally, I feel confident the accidental bump or fall won't cause any heart attacks. - Usability: Comfortable on one or both shoulder straps; included chest strap secures both shoulder straps, preventing them from sliding around while walking. Handle is convenient and without strain or stress, webbing seems to be riveted very well to the case. Outer pocket closure, while an interesting buckle design, is not always the quickest open/close method (and an extra piece of metal clanking about is sometimes a bad thing). Velcro or hidden magnetic strips would be a better closure mechanism. - Price/Value: Compared to other gig bags, there seems to be three "levels" of protection offered by the various products available. First, there's your run-of-the-mill $40 special, a "windbreaker" for your guitar of sorts. Next, there's the "All-purpose jacket", which is how I classify the MONO sleeve. Lastly, there's the overkill gig bag represented by the Vertigo and the GruvGear GigBlade. I'm not ready to be a gigging musician, so that level of protection will be reserved until I begin playing around town. - Overall impression: Great product, a few minor things I think could be improved on, but this is THE general purpose gig bag that sets the standard for everything else.

BEST BAG I HAVE EVER OWNER

Fits my guitar like a glove. Padding keeps it nice and snug and my guitat is in tune and ready to play when I take it out. Straps and handles are sturdy. I fully expect this bag to last as long as the guitar (23 years) it is holding. I plan on buying one for each of my other guitars.Sweetwater is amazing. Thank you very much Jeff Barnett!

Have guitar, will travel...if the gig bag is right.

I just got this from Sweetwater on Tuesday. My Schecter fits nicely inside. I will try this out with a 7 string soon, but my 6 fits snugly inside. Carry handle feels nicely balanced and sturdy, comfortable in the hand while carrying the guitar by the handle only. Backpack straps and chest strap feel really comfortable and needed no adjustment out of the box (I am 6 ft tall). Balance in all handle aspects seems to have been carefully noted by the designers, as there seemed to be no strain carrying or handling the sleeve regardless of the point of contact. Material seems to be quite rugged and relatively spill proof. We will see how it holds up over time. One thing that is quite different from other bags in this price range is the sturdy bottom protection, as well as reinforced areas where frequent contact is expected. Overall, I am impressed by how well the product lives up to its description and video demonstration. Very pleased with this purchase, will report back in a few months
