Keeley 30ms accessory

Great replacement for a Hosa splitter. I just bought the Keeley 30 MS pedal, which I have in "pro mode" in order to run two guitar amps. I had a problem with some noise until I upgraded to this Mogami cable. Night and day. This is the way to go.

Great Cable

This is one of the most well constructed cables I have ever purchased--and possibly the most expensive. Previously I had been using a relatively inexpensive insert cable to run my stereo guitar signal output to my Fishman preamp inputs. I don't have metrics to prove this, but I could swear the signal path was a good 3dB stronger and induced noise was also significantly decreased. Plus the cable is flexible and pliable enough to allow movement without getting kinked up. Well worth the money if it proves to be as durable as it is effective.

Cable allows stereo operation

I recently bought an Aguliar Chorasauras chorus pedal from Sweetwater which is designed specifically for bass. Since I use it to fill out the sound in a band with just guitar and drums I wanted to use it in stereo mode. But there is only one 3-conductor output jack, so to access the stereo output one has to use a stereo (3-conductor) 1/4 phone plug. The Mogami insert cable can easily be used for this purpose. I bought the longest one they make (12 feet) which brings the stereo bass signal out of the Chorasaurus back to my main amp. I plug one of the Mogami "outputs" directly into it, then plug the other into a female-to-female adapter so I can use a standard Mogami gold instrument cable to bring the signal to the other amp 20 feet away. The connectors in the adaptor are also gold-plated, so there is no loss of signal on the long branch. Using the Mogami insert cable is a very simple solution that gives me a stereo bass sound that is fuller, rather than louder. I am a happy camper!

So in the past I've always used cheap cables. I figured hey, a wire is a wire is a wire, right? I actually got this cable simply because my old one crapped out on me before a gig, and I wanted the replacement to have a lifetime warranty and be well-constructed. I wasn't really thinking of the sound. But after receiving it, I tested it out against my old cheapo cables, and the difference was absolutely SHOCKING! Stereo separation seemed better, lows were clearer, mids were fuller, the high end was bright but not shrill. The sound was full and lush, and compared to this my old cables made my digital piano sound like it was coming through a 1940's AM radio. Seriously, the cable makes a huge difference, and I will buy Mogami from here on out. It's worth every extra dollar spent.

TS 12 a winner

Very nice insert cable from Mogami.I usually make my own with bulk Mogami but needed cables quick. These have a very nice feel and are quiet and sound neutral.Very nice.If they are as durable as they are attractive they will earn that half point in short order.
