Best Case for the Job

By C. Pedersen from Jacksonville, Florida on February 18, 2017 Music Background: Sound Engineer, Musician

Truly the best case on the market for the x32. The only negative is the weight, but I would rather have the weight of a strong road-worthy custom case than something less suitable for a major investment in the X32. But two can easily lift it onto any surface using the spring-loaded handles, or you can take it out of the case yourself and place on stand or table. The doghouse makes it easy to access everything on the back of the console, allows for good clean cable management, and is easy storage for routers, hard drives, flashlights, usb and ethernet cables, and other small accessories you may need. One of the other reviews mentioned that fact that over time the console feet will sink into the foam, so I would recommend purchasing an extra pair of feet sooner than later and have them available when needed. The wheels included are perfect for loading and unloading from any trailer, and for loadins/loadouts. In summary, the perfect case for the perfect console.

Great case! Everything I need.

Must Have for the X32

By Jason Finnigan from Christiansburg, VA on January 6, 2014 Music Background: Live Sound Engineer

if you have an X32 and take it anywhere this case is a must have. It protects the x32 really well. Be prepared it's a heavy beast (at round 100 pounds the x32 itself is only 45)

Great case

This is a great case, love the Penn Fab type casters (2 w/locks). The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it's HEAVY...and I'm old and don't like to lift heavy things any more...but it sure fits my X32 like a glove.

Great protection - just one issue...

I lug my X-32 everywhere in this beast and given the way this case is built, don't worry about anything happening to it while in transit. You really need a case of this design with this particular board because of the way the X-32 cools itself. The fan is on the bottom of the console housing, hence the 5 big rubber feet that are meant to allow sufficient clearance for proper airflow. That's why the removable top is essential - to allow for airflow under the console while sitting in the tray. And - that's where we have a potential (but correctable) issue with this case. The five rubber feet will in a short amount of time sink into the 1" hard foam that lines the bottom of the case tray. When that happens, your X-32 will start to overheat if operated for any length of time while still in the tray (as most of us would do). Solution - get five more big rubber feet and drop them into the indentations created by the X-32's rubber feet. Air clearance restored and you're back in business.
