Big Low End, Smaller Size

Is your bass too heavy? Is it too big? The Ibanez GSR200 Bass series offers great low end and still keeps its size and weight down. This model of the famed Sound Gear series offers a compact body and smaller neck to help alleviate those neck and back problems. You get the best of both worlds with one J-style pickup and one P-style pickup, both bringing their recognizable tone to your fingertips. The active PHAT-II bass boost adds additional low end to your sound. Keep the band thumping all night long with the Ibanez GSR200 Bass.

Amazing Value

This is a great bass and the best at its price point. Sounds great, looks great.
5/5

Fantastic feel, weight, sound, and look.

I've played bass since Moby Dick was a minnow and I've never played any bass that suites me better. In fact, this bass is the most comfortable to play, and sounds as good as I've heard, (and I've been listening for many years). I recommend this bass to beginners because of ease of playing and to economically minded pros because it sounds fantastic, is light weight, is beautiful to the eye, and not something you'd mind having a scratch, whisky dent, or strap failure divot. A real keeper!
Music background: Varied playing situations. Duos, trios, combos of many sizes, big band jazz, The Navy Band, theaters, bars night clubs, and smoke filled dens of iniquity.

nice for the price

great bass and it sounds plays and looks great, the only problems I have found so far have been the pickups feeling a bit cheap and also where the neck and fret board attach to the body was somewhat angled. Other than that great bass.
