The GS Goes Compact!

Looking for Taylor quality in a small-sized guitar? The Taylor GS Mini acoustic guitar gives you Taylor construction and sound in a compact package. Typically we expect small sounds from small guitars, but thanks to the luthiers at Taylor the GS Mini bucks that trend. The Sitka spruce top, layered sapele back and sides, and ebony fingerboard give the GS Mini a rich and full sound you will love. If you are looking for a compact guitar with great sound, the Taylor GS Mini acoustic guitar is for you.

Ultra-portable acoustic

Taylor's award-winning GS Mini series is a scaled-down version of their ever-popular Grand Symphony guitar shape. With a total length of just over 36", the GS Mini guitar you can easily easily pack it in any vehicle, haul it on the subway, or even in overhead compartments on planes. Perfect for camping, festivals, or even hauling long distances, the GS Mini is a compact guitar with big tone that can go everywhere you go.

Small in stature, but big in sound

Even with its diminutive size the Taylor GS Mini guitar has a big sound. To put it simply, it is a cannon. You'll be surprised at how big and full the GS Mini sounds. Think of the GS mini as a modern-day parlor guitar, the perfect size to make it easy to haul around, but still with a rich, full sound.

Quality construction and materials

Taylor has a reputation for quality guitars and materials and the GS Mini is no exception. This model features a Sitka spruce top and layered sapele back and sides. The layered sapele back and sides of the GS Mini deliver a great rich tone while adding durability and stability to the guitar. The ebony fretboard and bridge offer great tone and even more stability to this amazing little guitar.

GS Mini: Max Value

Great tone. Straight out of the box the guitar was set up well. I am convinced Taylor's fit and finish cannot be beat at this price point. The purchase included a handy gig bag with embroidered logo -- a really nice perk. Go and get one!

Didn't like it at all...

My 2nd Taylor from Sweetwater. When my left-handed Mini arrived I opened the package quickly, and when I saw it for the first time I said to myself "what a big mistake"! I let it lay there, I came back a few minutes later picked it up, tuned it, and played it... Loved it! After a few day I felt like my other guitars were in fact getting jealous, one of them appeared to be turning green. :-) The sound is SUPER, plus its just fun to play. Get yours, you'll love it. Get it from Sweetwater, they're the best... Thank you Andrew!

Great practice guitar

Well, truth be dpknown, I drove Tyler , my sales rep, bonkers, hitting him for prices on electrics, acoustics, even models he didn't carry, special order, like the gs mini rosewood. All lefties. He didn't flutter. Instead he continued to work with me until I was happy with price, finally decided on the spruce. Taylor's , I've owned 3 now, tend to be bright anyway, too bright for many, that's why I mellowed it out with the sapele. I prefer sapele over mahagony. Better mids. Anyway, Tyler went the distance with me, he earned and deserved my business, quick delivery, broke it up with 3 payments. Not my first dealings with Tyler, he sold me my loudbox mini acoustic amp as well. The two year extended warranty on top of Taylor's limited, 55 point inspection, (not really on acoustic) but inspected nonetheless, action, nut, saddle, cracks, dents, your assured a good buy. Great guitar, looks good, plays great, don't have to worry about humidity issues, I'm a happy camper, thanks Tyler and sweetwater. Only place to buy your gear, trust me, I'm 58, a foot in the ground. I have no reason to deceive. I look for, and wait for, the best purchase I can get, after all , I'm retired, fixed income, got to.
Music background: Beginner, novice, keeps my mind sharp, enjoy it.
