The basswood body with quilted art grain top is gorgeous, and a trio of pickups gives you tons of tones. A standard tremolo handles divebombing and other whammy acrobatics. This axe is perfect for burgeoning rockers who want a versatile guitar for all occasions. All in all, the Ibanez GRX70 gives you a whole lotta guitar for the money!

Ibanez GRX70 Electric Guitar at a Glance:

Powerful pickups

Three Powersound pickups grace the Ibanex GRX70 electric guitar with versatile tones. Two powerful ceramic-magnet humbucking pickups give you high output without muddiness. The middle single-coil pickup uses Alnico magnets to produce a super-clear vintage tone. The GRX70 is ready for any style you need from clean, warm ballads to in-your-face rock and beyond.

Smooth-playing neck

A guitar is only as playable as its neck. It's a good thing the Ibanez GRX70 has a smooth and fast-playing maple neck. This comfortable neck gives you medium-sized frets that make playing chords and notes effortless.

Dive-bomb and waggle

From huge dive-bombs to subtle waggling to strutter-like warbling, the Ibanez GRX70's FAT 6 tremolo is ready for anything you throw at it. When not in use the tremolo is solid and in tune; when in use it does your bidding to the microtone. Whether you need the trem for cool '50s-era dips or massive metal dives, the Ibanez GRX70 is ready.

Awesome Guitar

I was really amazed at the quality and sound from a $ guitar, Came set up and ready to go right out of the box. Even the strings are good and it sounds great and stays in tune really well. The finish and shape are great. Will definitely but Ibanez again!
Music background: Play in a classic rock band

I am really impressed by the quality of this guitar, and the value for the money! The finish and attention to detail is above the price I paid. If you are looking for a value priced guitar that delivers, this is the one you need.

My daughter loves it, first guitar!

My 14-year-old daughter loves the way it feels, the weight the balance, not too bulky and easy to get her hands around to start learning how to play. Excellent beginner to intermediate or advanced guitar
Music background: 30 plus years playing.

Ibanez GRX70QA

This is a great guitar for anyone looking for a low cost instrument. The H-S-H setup is sweet, as the 5-way switch really gives you a nice combination of neck, single coil and bridge tones. The only con to this instrument is that if you're a bit sloppy with your pick you may end up strumming into the single coil. (but that's a con to all HSH setups.) It feels heavy, but comfortable as its got a nice balance. The red maple top seems to fade into the black in dim light, but under good lighting the red really pops! This is a gorgeous guitar!
