great gig bag

Well made Gator makes quality gig bags they have plenty of padding and I love the rain cover. I like being able to carry to guitars with good protection.

I love this case! Its my fourth double gigbag, and it's my fav! I've got two Road Runner double bags, no comparison. They're cheap, in fact one of them split open at a seam after only a year of what's now, part-time gigging. I also own a Levys, but it's cumbersome strap-like handles and belt buckles are archaic. My new Gator Double Bag is killer! By far the best! I now own no guitar cases! Haven't for years. And when I did, I carted four or five guitars to gigs in double bags. Never have I had such plush padding! And thick! I think it's 1 1/2". I've never had a bag that'd carry a full headstock 12string. This Gator case easily carries my longest, biggest dreadnaught 12'er with room to spare. The Gater Pro-Go is the best bag I've ever owned. Rugged on the outside, deeply padded, plush and soft on the inside. It even comes with a raincoat!

5 Flights and No Problems

I flew to Europe this past summer with my acoustic guitar and banjo in this case. It was my first European much tour. Maybe I'm lucky or maybe the baggage handlers are kind, but after 5 flights with this case, my instruments are fine. I just check the bag at the counter and then go through to security to catch my flight without having to lug my instruments all over the airport. I really like this case! It's pretty big, but it gets the job done :)

Heavy good

It heavy but good. Big case good padding. I'm done w grammar.

Gator Pro-Go Ultimate Gig Bag - Acoustic and Electric Double Guitar

This is an answer to the problem of freeing up an arm during transport of one acoustic guitar and one solid body guitar or another slimmer instrument like an open-back banjo or bouzouki. I tried a J-200 in the acoustic side; just a hair too big. A dreadnought was fine. I tried a 335 in the electric side; it zipped but was worrisome. A Strat was OK. IMV, this case will really shine for a jazz or county player with a big box and a Strat-size axe to take to a gig, and leave the other arm to cart an amp or other gear - and make only one trip. You could use either side as luggage and hit the road with one guitar for an extended period, too, I guess. Build quality is tops, it has all the ProGo neat stuff, and though cello-sized, it's pretty easy to handle. There are many possibilities to explore with this bag. Tommy Winter at Sweetwater is great to work with, too!
