Not a carry-on bag
This bag suits my purposes pretty well. I am using it to protect a Roland TD 12 V-Drum kit; 6 v-pads, 3 v-cymbals 1 v-high hat and the sound module. All of these items fit into the bag EXCEPT the Roland KD-120 kick drum assembly which is too big and bulky to fit. The bag has ample room for everything else and the two side pockets easily store cabling, DI's, a stick bag etc. It gets pretty heavy when fully loaded so having an additional bag for the sound module and or the kick is probably a good idea. The bag seems well constructed and I've hauled it to a few gigs so far. The wheels roll smoothly and are helpful when you are hauling on even surfaces. I think the bag could be improved by adding a grab handle on the wheel end of the bag to help with loading and additional internal support - using the shoulder strap to haul up stairs causes the bag to sag making it harder to carry. Overall a pretty good effort by Gator and it was the only offing in it's class that I found when I purchased it in May of 2015.
