NEX body combines performance and playability

A proprietary body shape developed by Takamine, the NEX body style is essentially a scaled-down jumbo. Extremely comfortable to play (especially for smaller players) the NEX body style brings a silky balance to a guitar's tone that lends itself especially well to vocal accompaniment. The NEX body style, while small, will provide you with full-sized sound whether you're onstage or unplugged.

Takamine's TP4T preamp system provides rich and natural sound

The GN20CE-NS utilizes Takamine's TP4T preamp, giving you rich, clear-sounding amplified output - instantly. A full-featured preamp system, the GN20CE-NS's TP4T electronics provide you with a handy onboard tuner plus an active shelving EQ with bass, middle, and treble sliders. It also sports a low battery indicator, which is actually even more useful than you might think. And since the preamp is switched on by and off by plugging in and unplugging your GN20CE-NS, it's hard to accidentally drain the the 9-volt battery.

Takamine GN20CE-NS - NEX Body, Natural

Oh man Aaron, This thing sounds and plays like a dream! Nice and buttery action. Thanks so much, I love it! It is everything I knew it would be! 25 years ago I found a Takamine in a shop of some kind and it had a bullet hole in it and still sounded and played great. They wanted $60 bucks more than I had and so I couldn't get it. I swore I was going to own one someday. and thanks to you I now have it! Again, I love it!

Great Acoustic for the money!!! Even the lower end Takamine has a beautiful tone and playablity..... Love playing this plugged in or just sitting around. Takamine has one of the finest EQ's in the business. Will always play Takamine...

very nice guitar, especially st this price

After a minor FedEx SNAFU concerning delivery, I finally got this beauty. As all my Sweetwater purchases, it came well-packed; so well, it was practically still in tune. The fit & finish are excellent, and it sounds & plays great with & without an amp. The neck carve is perfect for me, sort of a flattened "C" shape, and the satin finish looks really nice; kind of understated while allowing the wood grain to show through. I would definitely recommend this guitar to anyone, of any skill level.

Awesome Guitar Not my Taylor but a good go to in a pinch the play ability is outstanding

Glad I picked this one

Really disappointed when I received the guitar. The strings were really high off the neck. Called Sweetwater and they told me how to adjust the neck. Now I like every thing about it. Love the smaller but deep body which still has a very good acoustic sound without plugging it in which is also great.
