So Good I've Bought It Twice

I bought this guitar about two years ago. Loved it, but I traded it for another guitar. Well, I missed the guitar. Yes. I missed playing it. So, I ordered it again from Sweetwater. The neck on this guitar is superb. For the price you cant beat the style, the feel, and the sound of this guitar. This guitar can downright shred easily. I've owned too many guitars and of all the guitars I've owned this is in my top 2. It's s bit klunky but I love it.

Awesome guitar

I was given this guitar for my birthday this year and can only say that I was blown away. This is coming from a guy who is comparing this guitar to many in his collection that cost double to three times as much. I saw Lynch on the Tooth an Nail tour (When he was playing a Kramer Barretta) when I was ten and that show made me practice more. He was and still is amazing. This is by far his most recognizable model, and after playing an ESP sunburst Tiger, as well as having owned a MII custom (white with JB and single coil neck pu, like degarmo's), can say that this guitar holds up to both. Especially when you consider this price. The neck prifle on this guitar is Amazing, the pickups work great, and the simplicity of the switching, as well as just being able to pick this guitar up cold and SSSSHHHHRRRREEEEDDDDDD!!!! make this a STEAL at this price.

iconic guitar made for an iconic artist

For those of us that grew up in the glory days of hair metal we can agree that there was no shortage of great guitarists. If asked , those of us that took up playing because of that sound would easily pick out the one man whose style and skill epitomized that era , George lynch. His line of E.S.P. Guitars were coveted because of their quality and uniqueness and of all of them the kamikaze stands out. Although this guitar lacks some of the high end customization of the top of the line kamikazes it's still a quality , inexpensive alternative for those of us that view this as an extension of the guitar God himself. Forgive my obvious hero worship but it doesn't change the fact that virtually all of us who love the genre and play guitar easily recognize this guitar , and none of what's in my review is hyperbole, bravo Sweetwater for offering such an amazing instrument for such a low price.
