Mahogany top, body, and sides provide rich, warm tones

Whether you lean towards indie rock, alt country, traditional folk, or any other style you can think of, if your acoustic guitar is frequently your entire backing band, then you're going to feel right at home with a Guild D-120 acoustic guitar. Its mahogany back and sides provide exceptional richness and powerful bass that leaves plenty of space for your vocals. And its mahogany top adds a warm air to its sound. It fills a unique sonic spot in any band or recording.

Dreadnought body style is a flatpicker's favorite

The powerful voice and unrivaled projection of the traditional Dreadnought body style has made it the choice of strummers and flatpickers throughout history. The naturally deep lows and crisp highs of Guild's Dreadnought body help to balance the D-120's tone across the full sonic spectrum, giving you a sound that lends itself equally well to traditional bluegrass and folk as it does to modern acoustic rock. If you're looking for a guitar that can handle agressive picking and driving rhythms, you're going to love the D-120.

Plays fast and smooth with a slim neck profile

The mahogany neck on the D-120 has a smooth satin finish, and a slim profile for effortless playability. Combined with the rosewood fretboard's ultra-flat 16" radius, you get a fast-playing neck that's just as comfortable with rhythm work as it is with melodic runs and flourishes.

Guild D-120 Acoustic Guitar Features:
  • Classic dreadnought guitar with premium tonewoods
  • Wide tonal range from an all-solid mahogany construction
  • Solid top will enhance in tone as the guitar ages
  • Slim neck and 16" radius for fast, smooth playability
The Guild D-120 delivers all-mahogany tones in a great-playing dreadnought!

Guild D120

This is a hands down the best sounding guitar Ive ever owned. It sounds so full and rich that is hard to explain. I have several guitars that are same body wise but this one blows them away no question. I will keep this guitar as long as I live. First Guild to own and certainly not the last. This guitar is the best in this price range and even more expensive ones will be shy of reaching the tone and playability of this gem.

I received my Cherry Red Guild Westerly D-120 Acoustic guitar a few days ago. I couldn't be more pleased! It's so beautiful and the tone is amazing! Big shout out to my Sales Associate, Anthony Jenkins! You were so helpful and attentive! Thanks a million!
