GHS GUITAR STRINGS

I've used GHS strings for 30 + years on my electric guitars, , and have been very well satisfied. I've used the extra lights, lights, and custom lights, and tremolo GHS strings. I am self taught and play by ear, not very well I might add,but never the less I still like to try playing. I've tried several string brands, and GHS is the best you can get. So, buy a set, or 10, and try them you'll never regret it. Thanks GHS, and Sweetwater.

Nice strings but....

I use to use this brand & gauge exclusively on my electric guitars. I put the guitars down for 2 years because life got in the way. Anyway, I've started playing a lot and loaded the Boomers on my Les Paul & Strat. I've had them on my guitars for a week or so and just as before, they sounded great. I only have one problem with them now & that is that they turn my fingers and fretboard black. I'm a pretty hard lead player & that may be the reason I'm wearing them down so fast. When I play a lot, I change strings every 2 weeks or so & the Boomers were cheap enough to do that. I've tried Ernie Ball Cobalt & M-Steel strings that cost more than the Boomers & I didn't have so much string breakdown. I guess I'll change to the Ernie Ball strings.
