Great Gig bag for the money

One of the best gig bags I have seen.

Perfect bag to run to church , or practice. Wouldn't recommend throwing it in a tour van or trailer

Hi, as the subject title says, I bought a beautiful Gretsch guitar and case online then 2 weeks later I drove 3 hours and bought a Epiphone Les Paul, amp and case in person. Everyone at the store was great. They went out of their was great. My sales Engineer Branden Thatcher was great. I have worn out many gig bags. This is solid and protects my Strat. Well worth the money

This gig bag protects my SG very well. The interior provides soft, thick padding that is sure to protect your guitar. The bag has plenty of pockets for sheet music, cables, straps, or whatever else you want. The backpack straps and handles are sturdy and have a rubber grip on them. I love the pick holder on the zipper. I highly recommend this gig bag.

Blend of protection and price. This gig bag fits my Schecter C-1 perfectly. Lots of storage for cables and tuner.

This heavily padded and well-constructed Gig Bag is an excellent choice for anyone wanting soft-side, case-like protection for an offset Fender, Squier, or any other guitar a little longer or wider than standard-scale. It costs a little more than some because of the extra padding and features. To me, worth every cent. Gator makes good tough stuff!

These are great gig bags, I have a few of them and I love the design.

They have some rigidity on the sides and there is ample padding to protect the guitar.

The is plenty of pocket space and the carrying handles/straps are sturdy.

You can't go wrong this gig bag!

Bought this gig bag with my Fender Player Series Strat. It fits that guitar like a glove. Very well made gig bag. Love how thin it is. I can only assume it will fit my future Fender Richie Kotzen Telecaster.

I have no complaints with this bag. It is well constructed, padded, plenty of storage, strong zippers, and has several methods of carry.

If you are looking for lightweight and very easy transport and good protection for your electric guitar this is the answer. Love this Gig Bag, great protection and convenient storage for essential items.

Love this Gator bag. Bag really isn't a good word for it altho, it's more like a sparring glove. My Epiphone electric fits in it perfectly, plenty of pad for protection. Nice big sleeve to hold my sheet music, clip board, 10ft cable and even this morning a tambourine! Also 2 smaller side pockets for pics, pen, tuner. This glove is tuff. Not extra crap, just what you need, anything else your roadie can carry it. There's even a covering inside to handle the headstock. Zipper is excellent and as always the folks at Sweetwater are professionals, shipping fast, great price. You travel with your gear? Protect it. Buy this glove, its great

I have one for my tele,2 strats,jazzmaster and I'm sure at least one ore two more guitars that slip my mind at this moment. A great way to protect your guitars.built well and worth the investment.

Fabulous Gig Bag at this price, and almost as protective as some Hard Shell Cases for Electric Guitars. Bought to protect my new Fender Mustang from Sweetwater. Fit that model quite well, but also accommodates my Stratocaster and Telecaster, even though I have Deluxe Fender hard shell cases included with those models. If you're looking for a reasonably priced, well constructed gig bag for any of these three guitars, this bag is a great choice. It may fit others, as well. The Gator bag provides more protection and a better size format for minimal added cost, when compared to the lower-priced, larger, more 'generic' Fender all-in-one design bag to fit all Fender models. This Gator offers a snugger fit, comfortable 'over-the-shoulder' option with top-notch construction, more padding, sturdy Zippers and Pulls, and a roomy front-pocket too. The front pocket zipper even doubles as an extra pick holder, if ever needed. Just picked this bag out based upon pics, description, and measurements on Sweetwater site, because I've owned other Gator Bags and Soft Shell Cases in the past and have always been impressed with them. This one does not disappoint!

I generally protect my axes with hard shells, but it seems the crafters of gig bags have stepped up their game ! Combining good looks with superior construction is always a winner for me.

Gig Bag fit my strat very well love it

I am a fan of gig bags or transporting my guitars. Fender makes really nice cases, as does PRS and Gibson. However, they are heavy, bulky and hard to navigate with. This gator gig bag fits my Stratocaster professional perfectly. It seems to be very well-made out of good quality materials and a good sturdy zipper. The only fault I can find with it is that it only has one large storage compartment. There's plenty of room in there for cable, strap, tuner and Music etc. this is OK for carrying all your stuff but is lacking in being able to organize. I would like to have a couple more storage places and/or some subdivision in the large compartment. Other than that it's qualiity, a good fit, plenty of padding easy to carry and light weight. This will be the gig bag I will buy again.

I've had and used several of these bags and they are great gig bags for the price. Nice features but still a simple and practical design that isn't bulky. Anytime I'm looking for a new instrument case at a great price, and don't want a hard case at a higher cost, the Gator 4G Series Gig Bags are the first case I look for and if available in the size I need it is the one I get.

Quality gig bag reasonably priced. Great for Les Paul size guitars.

Ordered this case for a Telecaster style guitar I recently got that didn't include a case and the guitar fits perfectly. Great padding, sturdy for a soft case and well made. Very pleased with this purchase as I have been with all my Sweetwater purchases.

I love it! It"s not a hardbody case that takes up a lot of space, but it adds ample protection for my guitar so I know that while I"m transporting it, it"ll stay safe even if it takes a hit!

My Les Paul fits perfect with the strap on. Really good service from the company!

This is a great gig bag for when you want to carry your guitar without lugging a heavy hardback case around. The backpack style shoulder straps make carrying the guitar a breeze, especially when you need your hands for other things (like amps and stands). I would not want to use the bag when the guitar is likely to get knocked around, but I use it all the time to carry my guitar from my dorm to the studio and practice rooms. I highly recommend it.

For the money this is the best bag out there. Giant front pouch. Nice padded slings.

Bought this bag for my Gretsch G2215-P90 Streamliner Junior Jet Club. It fits nicely and is a decent value for carrying a less expensive guitar.

I ended up with this bag after getting the Fender FE620 and having to return it because it was too short. That seemed like a really great bag otherwise so I was disappointed. I chose this Gator because it seemed comparable. When it arrived I was pleased to see it fit my Squier Paranormal Cyclone perfectly. It seems extremely well-made and I am pleased with it. I like the front pocket although I wish it was slightly roomier, but I can get my folder with sheet music in there plus a cable and capo at least.

Nice and big and decent padding. I wish the shoulder straps were detachable though. But otherwise, a great bag.

The bag seems very durable, with a sturdy zipper and plenty of shock absorbtion. I've seen other brand bags for nearly 4X this cost that I'd consider only marginally better. I already own several Gator bags, had no hesitation about being a repeat customer.

Excellent gig bag from Gator Cases. Fits Les Paul style with room to keep padded leather strap attached. Great quality, zippers work smoothly. The shoulder straps are comfortable and easy to adjust. Ample padding for tossing it in the back seat and everyday carry without worry. This is a very nice bag that fits my Epiphone Jack Casady bass very well, and as many JC owners know, not many gig bags work for that bass. The length is perfect. There is just enough room for the tuning keys. It's a little snug at the lower bout but you don't need to force the zipper. Padding is good. Overall construction quality is very nice. It's not the highest end bag but well worth $... Perfect for transporting to gigs and rehearsals where I'm the only person handling the instrument.

I received this bag for free because the guitar I bought didn't come with a bag or case (there out to be a law against this), so I wasn't expecting much. This is a great bag for the money with great quality and construction. I give it my highest recommendation if you don't want to spend a lot of money on a gig bag.

The bag is well made, but the neck support could be improved. The fit is good enough for most guitars.

The only thing I don't like is the backpack straps aren't removable. For the money you can't go wrong with this bag!

Took a chance on this bag for local practice instead of bringing my hard case. It is sturdy and padded in the right spots. Been using it to bring my axe back and forth and it is holding up nice

I found my large hard shell guitar cases took up too much room when packing up my Subaru for a gig. This bag is well padded and protective of my guitar without taking up very much space. This bag also has a very good rubber handle grip for carrying it if you aren't wearing it as a backpack. Bag only has one large pocket. I would prefer a couple of extra smaller pockets for little items like picks, capo, tuner etc. Price of the bag is very fair

It will do the job

I like my Gator gig bag. I have used them before and they never disappoint. It protects my Epiphone Les Paul with sufficient padding in all the right places. This case is much cheaper than a hard shell, and takes up less room when the guitar is being stored.

I am very pleased with this gigbag from Gator. It ripstop tough on the outside and has enough cushion on the inside to protect your guitar. My Supro fits really well in this gigbag and I feel I safe to travel with it, even if its only over a friends house. My Sales Engineer Nick, helped me find this gigbag for my guitar needs. Only drawback is there is only one big pocket. But it will still hold your cables, accessories and a book if need be.
I am happy with the customer service at Sweetwater and will definitely buy from them in the future.

I am progressing from novice stage so I upgraded my guitar.Since there are several siblings living nearby Sweetwater guided me in purchasing the Gator 4G bag in order to transport my new guitar when I visit them.

What can I say? It's a sturdily built bag with nice padding and a quality feel. The fabric is thick and tough. It's nicer than most of the bags from other makers. There's even a pick holder on one of the zippers! Nice touch. It's a great bag and will service anyone well.

My always helpful sales engineer Zach helped me to select a padded guitar bag that would fit and protect my Danelectro '63. When it arrived I was pleased to find that my guitar fit snugly into this bag. It is not an overly tight fit, but the movement of the guitar is kept to a minimum. There is a pocket into which to slip the headstock, and this further reduces the shifting of the guitar. The padding is as-described, and seems more than adequate to protect my guitar from minor dings that might occur while it is being carried or if it happens to topple over. It is, of course, a bag, and crushable. There are two internal, padded flaps that add to the padding at the bottom of the body. The lining is non-abrasive. The exterior fabric seems to be tough. The zippers work well. The external pocket is large enough for sheet music and a lesson book or two, and it has an internal mesh divider, as well as a couple of external mesh pockets for small items. I am glad that I bought it.

Looking for a gig bad for a guitar that stays inside. Saw this model elsewhere buy decided to by from Sweetwater. One feature I liked was described in the description as "adding internal headstock and bridge reinforcements to the GB-4G-ELECTRIC". After receiving the bag I could not find or detect this feature. I contacted Sweetwater. I stated the bad was worth the price but I cannot find this feature. Sweetwater responded quickly with a marked up picture of this case showing where the support is SUPPOSED to be. Unfortunately the case at the identified points are no different than the other places on the case. I will keep the case. It is a good deal. I'm just disappointed. Not upset at Sweetwater, great company and support, but will try to check/verify the descriptions in the future.

It's ok. The zippers work well so far. Pretty thinly padded so must transport extra carefully.
