Double Your Guitar-playing Fun!

Add a little flash to your stage show with the Gretsch Electromatic G5566 Jet Double Neck solidbody electric guitar. Besides the killer Silver Sparkle finish, the G5566 has two necks. The lower neck is standard tuned and upper neck is a 29.75" scale length baritone. Tuned B to B from the factory, the baritone neck delivers the same low end as a bass guitar. Each neck has a pair of humbucking pickups (mini humbuckers on the baritone) and Bigsby vibratos. Expand your sonic palette with the Gretsch G5566 Jet Double Neck guitar.

Gretsch Electromatic G5566 Jet Double Neck Solidbody Electric Guitar at a Glance:

  • Vintage-style Bigsby tailpieces let you perform smooth and subtle bends
  • Gretsch's legacy in American music
Classic Gretsch humbucker tone

Gretsch has earned a reputation for producing high-quality pickups, and the G5566 Jet Double Neck packs two humbuckers into each guitar to give you the warm glow associated with '50s Gretsch guitars. Plug into your favorite tube amplifier and select both pickups to fill the room with organic resonance and smoky tones. But flip to the bridge humbucker and peg the volume knob, and you've got a hot, biting sound at your fingertips.

Vintage-style Bigsby tailpieces let you perform smooth and subtle bends

Nothing beats the character and vintage vibe that a real Bigsby-style tailpiece adds to the G5566 Jet Double Neck. Based on the original design created by Paul A. Bigsby, the Bigsby licensed B50 and B60 tailpieces require next to no effort to use, making it particularly easy to pull off slow, subtle, and extended bends with the Gretsch G5566 Jet Double Neck guitar.

Gretsch's legacy in American music

The Gretsch G5566 Jet Double Neck electric guitar is a proud part of Gretsch's legacy in American music. Everyone knows Gretsch electric guitars and drums, but did you know that they started in 1883 as a banjo company? It wasn't long before Gretsch was making mandolins, ukuleles, and eventually, flat-top guitars, contributing to the very roots of American music. So when you pick up a Gretsch guitar, you're holding more than a great axe; you're holding a piece of American music history.

Gretsch Electromatic G5566 Jet Double Neck Solidbody Electric Guitar Features:
  • Double neck guitar: standard tuning and baritone
  • Humbuckers on the standard-tuned neck and mini humbuckers on the baritone
  • Rosewood fretboards and a bound body
  • Dual 3-way pickup switches and a single 2-way neck selector switch
  • Dual Bigsby licensed tailpieces make performing subtle bends easy
  • Silver Sparkle finish with chrome hardware
Double your fun with the Gretsch Electromatic G5566 Jet Double Neck guitar!

A Heavy-Hitting Tone Machine

Gretsch has hit a home run with this double-neck axe! Weighing in slightly more than my Ovation 6/12 double-neck, this solid-body guitar fills the need for all the electric standard and baritone sounds you want. Both necks are very comfortable to play, the humbucker pickups sound great and the dual Bigsby tailpieces complete what is the most versatile guitar I've found.
Music background: Hobbyist

This baritone part of this instrument IS NOT TUNED E TO E like a bass. It is tuned B to B like a traditional baritone. Do not buy this instrument for the E to E bass tuning.
