Versatile Amp Head with Tube-saving Technology

The Bugera G20 Infinium Class A electric guitar tube amplifier head is a wonderful solution for the guitarist who needs a reliable amp with a wide palette of sound at a screaming price. Bugera's Infinium technology not only greatly extends the life of your tubes, but it also allows for mixing and matching. The Morph knob dials in American and British EQ curves, and the G20 is loaded with additions like an effects loop, speaker-emulated out, and more. The Bugera G20 Infinium is a great companion for the guitarist who needs a lot of tones under the hood.

Bugera G20 Infinium Electric Guitar Tube Amplifier Head at a Glance:
  • Infinium technology
  • Find your blend of American and British tones
  • Many onboard options to fine-tune your sound
Infinium technology

Bugera's Infinium technology is a revolutionary method of extending the life of your amplifier's tubes up to 20 times. This process also self-biases each tube individually to keep them running optimally and does away with the need for expensive tube biasing repairs. The G20 Infinium employs this technology so you can use any type of power tubes that you choose. Whether your flavor is 6L6 or EL34, all you have to do is swap in the tubes and power up the G20.

Find your blend of American and British tones

Bugera added their popular Morph control to the tonestack of the G20 Infinium. This knob lets you choose between American and British-sounding EQ curves. Turn the knob to the left and you'll notice larger lows and a glassy top end. Crank it to the right and chime and mid presence come to the forefront. A lot of Sweetwater guitarists are adding this amp to their rigs for this control alone. And the Morph control is fully variable to allow you to dial in the perfect blend for whatever style of gig you're playing.

Many onboard options to fine-tune your sound

Though the G20 Infinium is incredibly easy to use, it comes with a surprising amount of flexibility for nailing the exact sound the situation calls for. The effects loop has a level button for use with pedals or line-level effects. A two-setting, speaker-emulated output works perfectly for headphones, recording, or playing live. And the G20 Infinium boasts a high quality reverb for adding some ambience to your passages. A footswitch out and indicators for tube life round out this very powerful amplifier.

Bugera G20 Infinium Electric Guitar Tube Amplifier Head Features:
  • 20-watt tube amplifier head
  • Infinium technology extends the life of your tubes of choice
  • Morph control dials in American and British EQ tones
  • Effects loop with level switch
  • Speaker-emulated line-out is great for recording
  • Onboard reverb
  • 2-button footswitch included
The G20 Infinium offers a lot of great tones for not a lot of money.

Bugera G20 amp head

I did a lot of research looking for a head and base cabinet. What I like about the Bugera G20 its large enough to take to live gigs and not be to big to practice at home with, the other thing I liked about it was the head phone capabilities because like anybody that has a family you can't practice with the speaker cabinet without somebody telling you to turn it down. this amp also has a great reverb built in and the morph control is great to play with it does change your tone pretty dramatically. this is a great sounding amp and I would recommended to anybody.

Exactly what I wanted...

I purchased this amp last week and it arrived two days ago. Prior to buying it, I had researched it and other amps online here at Sweetwater for about 2 months. After two days of ownership, I can say this product is exactly what I expected. What was it that i expected? I expected a decently built, tube head amplifier with the sound that I heard in the demo's and POSSIBILITIES. Meaning, I have multiple options to modify my sound should I desire to do so. 1) Exchange the Tubes 2) Add a pedal or two in my effects loop post distortion 3) Add a pedal or two in front of the distortion on the clean side 4) Some combination of the previously mentioned options. Right now, I am enjoying the built in sound of my amp with the stock tubes. I play a Les Paul Standard...and even with the stock tubes my new amp blows away my old one (solid state Marshall 15 W). There is just no comparison to the Tube sound. None. Solid state tries....but fails. Finally, Bugera amps dont deserve the bad wrap they get online. Im not a professional musician, sure, and I dont "gig" every night. But this amp is perfect for at home use and has fit all of my needs.Especially at the price ... I would highly recommend it. Bugera delivers a very nice product...

less is more

I purchased the G20, and the 412TS cab back late Jan. Was looking around for low wattage head/cab set to replace a 100W twin that wasn't seeing much playing time in my little home studio. All of the positive feedback and vids online plus the price drop @SW did help influence. Other features like tube monitoring, metal switches, Morph, and emulated line out help as well. The amp has great channel tonal clarity & distinction . I find the clean channel to be a thick clean tone. Morph and tone controls can give a nice twang chime with low o/p single coils. Higher output pickups can push the channel to a little breakup. The dirty channel is where the class-A really stands out. Again, tweaking the morph, tone controls, and chan. vol. you go from rich bluesy to dark rock. This channel as well responds to different pickups, high o/p HB's can push it to harmonic leads with little effort or gain setting. The amp works well with pedals in and thru the loop. Thru the loop, I did find I lost some tone with a analog delay I 'have. I tried a o/d pedal in the front and worked as expected, but the amp does not really require it to give a good bite. Another surprise feature is the emulated lineout is on even when in standby. You get to hear your tone in the mix feed before your saturated at the amp. Overall, "less is more" here; I find playing straight in to the amp, with nothing in the loop to be the best tone. Adding to the value is of course SW's commitment to the customer experience. Best price, communication, availability, and follow thru to delivery with product support.

Bugera Infinium G20

This head is incredible. I bought it because I was amazed by the G5 tone . This head is the best value out there. The tones are sweet as sugar or as nasty as nasty can get.

Bugera G20

I've been using a Marshall DSL15H with an mx12 cab. The Marshall amp is very noisy and I've never really gotten the tone I wanted. This amp exceeds the Marshall in every aspect. It sounds better, more versatile and not noisy. Love it.
