Impressive Speaker

I have a Marshall 1x12 cabinet that came with a Celestion 70/80 speaker. The cabinet sounded very bright and a bit thin. I started looking, reading, listening and asking about a replacement speaker. Eminence, Jensen, EV and more Celestion. I looked into them all. I somewhat stumbled upon the G12T "Hot 100" listening to a band at a local club. The guitar player had a 1x12 cabinet with a 50 watt head similar to what I am using. He had a great full sound with tight full low end ... precise mids and the perfect high end chime when he needed it. We talked abit and I went home and ordered one. I could not have chosen a better speaker. Great tone through the spectrum and tons of headroom. This is somewhat of a well kept secret. You should try them.

Under rated speaker.

To me this is Celelstion's most underrated guitar speaker. I've had the pleasure to have owned the original "Made in England" Hot 100's speakers in the past. Though these sound the same, they are not made in England anymore. It's not worth a 5 star rating. Hot 100's represent the best of both worlds (IMO) from "Fender Clean" to "Marshall Mean" this speaker can handle it all with authority and headroom to spare. Deep full bass, great mid-range bark and just the right amount of treble. The Hot 100 is the original sport utility speaker. Buy one or some, if you dare?
