Power Up to 10 Pedals at Once

The T-Rex Fuel Tank Classic pedalboard power supply has the ability to power up to 10 pedals simultaneously. Onboard are eight 9-volt power outputs that can supply a total of 500mA. And outputs for 12-volt AC and 12-volt DC each are rated at 500mA for today's digital pedals with a higher draw. And the Fuel Tank Classic is switchable to be able to accept 115 volts or 230 volts. This is a great feature for playing and touring abroad. The T-Rex Fuel Tank Classic power supply will power a whole pedalboard without breaking a sweat.

T-Rex effects: guitarist designed, quality built

Danish tone pioneers T-Rex Engineering have been making quality effects pedals and guitar gear since the 1990s. T-Rex pedals are made using some of the best components in the industry, like film/foil electrolytic capacitors, lifetime-use pots, and rugged footswitches, toggles, and connectors. T-Rex's better-known pedals include the Replica digital delay and Mudhoney distortion, which can be found on the pedalboards of top guitarists David Gilmour, John Mayer, Mark Tremonti, and Steve Morse, as well as many of Sweetwater's players.

Not a bad pedal, but do your homework 1st

I have a JHS Morning Glory, a Strymon BigSky, and other pedals, but what I found was that the BigSky was causing a loud hum with the JHS pedal. This seems to be due to the outputs using a common ground. I sent the power supply back and went with a Voodoo Lab Digital. I could have gone with the T-Rex Goliath which would have also solved my problem. I had 5 other pedals and there were no issues so the power supply does provide a decent rating, but for the price I think a 3 is the most I will offer.

Very Noisy

I bought this, I suppose not fully doing my homework, and it produced so much extra noise it was rendered useless. I am sure this would work very well with considerably less noise for those with simpler boards comprised of a couple small simple Boss pedals but if you have bigger pedals that demand more power or that have tubes, you can forget it.Outputs are not isolated, which is probably one of the biggest factors causing all the hum and the 8 9V outputs only power up to 500 mA. That's barely enough to power my DD-20 and my FullDrive 2. Let alone all my other pedals on top of that. I guess that's what I get for not doing my homework.Bottom line, I would not recommend this to anyone. The standard 1-Spot daisy chain produced virtually no noise in my rig next to this thing and it powered up to 1700 mA. I cannot begin to understand how this unit gets such good reviews across the internet.
