A double shot of serious overdrive

The Mesa/Boogie Flux-Five features two inspiring gain modes. The LO gain mode is the original Flux-Drive pedal in all its tonal goodness. HI mode adds some serious gain to the original sound for scorching leads and chunky rhythms. A trim pot on the HI mode lets you trim or boost its output to taste. A single footswitch lets you toggle between HI and LO. The Mesa/Boogie Flux-Five is like adding an extra two channels to your amp!

Sculpt your tone with a built-in 5-band graphic EQ

Much like their classic amplifier design, Mesa/Boogie shoehorned a 5-band parametric EQ in the Flux-Five. Tailored for guitar, the EQ lets you boost or cut the 80Hz, 240Hz, 750Hz, 2.2kHz, and 6.6kHz ranges so you can dial in your dream sound. You can also set the EQ to work on either or both gain modes. Take it from the guitar experts at Sweetwater - the Mesa/Boogie Flux-Five has the tone-sculpting features you need to create your perfect tone!

Built tough in the USA for rugged reliability

Mesa/Boogie has been hand-building some of the most sought after guitar gear in Petaluma, CA since the late '60s. Like it a lot

This is a "desert island" must have pedal for me. I received it yesterday, set it up for the classic Mesa V shape and after a few minor tweaks I lost myself in the sweetest tone I have ever heard. No kidding, I played for 3 hours and was completely unaware of the time that had passed.

Love this stomp box

Have two Boogie's,DC5 and 50 caliber (El84's),and this thing nails those tones even through a practice amp.Have and had just about every overdrive only to put them on shelf and not use them.I use this instead of channel 2 now full time, would buy again.

Boogie in a box ! !

A totally amazing pedal that does what it claims and more. If you're looking for that iconic Boogie tone from the Mark series amps of 80's that magic is in this box. I have a 1985 Mesa Boogie Mark IIB combo amp that has been on stage with me for 25+ years so I know that sound well. I recently acquired a Morgan PR12 combo amp fitted with a Weber speaker to use on smaller venues. It's a single channel amp with 4 knobs, Vol, bass,Treble & Reverb that has that classic Fender vibe. I missed having the switchable channels of my Boogie amp so the Flux-Five pedal more than fit the bill. Now I have (4) four overdrive settings at the stomp of a switch. Use it as a boost, use it for just the graphic or for the great overdrive sounds this is one versatile pedal. Like all Mesa Boogie products it's built like a tank and made in America.

Fantastic!!

I love it! Nice in your face sound with 2 gain modes?!? My knight in shining armor for a stubborn head (Nomad 100) I have. I consider myself to be very picky, but within 2 minutes of having the pedal plugged in had a fantastic sound! The EQ is Touchy but that's ok because IT WORKS! Literally endless potential here...

Little Mesa Amp in a box

I've bought it mainly because of the EQ section which really makes difference for me. First impression right after unpack, it is the quality. Very solid, full metal box. It makes nice impression from the very start. I already have other, good quality, two channel OD, which is "Dumbledore" by Weehboo. I wanted another OD as an addition to my existing one with much more heavier and darker sound pallet, and Flux-Five exceeded my expectation. Quality of the sound is excellent. This pedal has its very own, unique sound, somewhat similar color and character to Mesa Boogie Mark amp series. It is very easy to set sound to aka "Santana sound" (at least i found it easy to be close) . Knobs are very touch sensitive which I like it. The same about sliders on EQ section. The slider length is somewhat short, so even small correction makes a from noticeable to huge change in a sound. You can disable EQ with two mini toggle switches (HI and Low EQ on/off), if you don't wanna mess around with sliders. Unit came with standard 9V battery inside, which I removed before placing in a pedal board. You have to unscrew the bottom plate, to remove the battery. Didn't want to keep it forgotten inside. Good news for single coils guitar players. With this pedal, your Strat will sound ..... huge and fat. I really like it. Sweetwater staff as always: A++ :-). Thx Jimmie H. to handle my order so fast. I had it at my doorstep in literally in two days. :-)
