Loaded Strat Pickguard - Only at Sweetwater!

Fishman Fluence Strat pickups deliver the most sought-after Stratocaster tones, from vintage sweetness to overwound punch. Unlike most wire-wound models, Fluence pickups manage to deliver the classic Strat sound - without hum, noise, or inductance issues. Installation is easy - just drop this loaded pickguard into your guitar, add a 9-volt battery or optional battery pack, and you'll be immersed in pure, uncorrupted, euphoric tone. On top of that, Fishman Fluence Strat pickups provide you with your choice of two distinctly different voices - a clear, vintage-sounding single-coil and a muscular, overwound Hot Texas single-coil - all from the same pickups.

Fishman Fluence Strat Pickups at a Glance:
  • Active electronics deliver classic tone without the noise
  • Two distinct voices
  • Power supply delivers 200+ hours of use
Active electronics deliver classic tone without the noise

We all love the sound of vintage single-coil pickups, but they often bring 60-cycle hum, buzz, and other issues with them. With Fishman Fluence pickups, you can run hundreds of feet of guitar cable without any quality loss. Use your volume control with incredible smoothness to coax useful sounds out of your guitar, even at low settings.

Two distinct voices

The Fluence Core provides you with the choice of two unique, selectable voices. The Fluence Strat pickup's first voice is reminiscent of a vintage single-coil. Plug into your amp and treat yourself to that familiar sweet warmth, accented by clear and present articulation. The second voice invokes a Hot Texas single-coil, with its muscular, beefy, overwound tone. The voices can be accessed by any number of standard switches or push/pull controls and can be added as a completely reversible modification to most guitars.

Power supply delivers 200+ hours of use

Offering 200+ hours of playing time, Fishman Fluence pickups also fully recharge in a matter of a few hours by using a standard USB charger. These pickups utilize either a standard 9V battery, or you can use the optional Fluence battery pack. These battery packs screw onto your guitar in place of the control or spring cover, requiring no permanent modifications to your instrument.

Fishman Fluence Strat Pickups Features:
  • Active electronics deliver classic tones without noise
  • Multi-voice Fluence Core provides two selectable voices
  • Power supply delivers 200+ hours of use and recharges in a few hours
  • Drop-in installation - includes pickups, switches and pots - no permanent modification required

Amazing and Groundbreaking

Never had such great noiseless Strat tone. The Greg Koch videos tell the story. Really the tone is like two guitars and when they say noiseless, this delivers in spades. I cannot say how much more usable this guitar now is for recording. If you want true single coil tone and hate buzz this is the BEST option. I have tried Kinmans which are probably the best passive pickup solution, but these are more versatile with the two voices. Previously tried EMG active vintage but found them weak and dark. You can run these Fishmans right into your OD pedals and crank up the gain. Still no buzz. Remarkable. I replaced the SCN set on a 2004 Deluxe Strat (which are great pickups if you like that more modern tone) which simply does not make that vintage Strat sound (even though it is a great tone its just can't get the high end air). Probably the SCN bridge sound is better for harder rock, but throw some pedals on the Fishmans and you don't care. Very happy with these I think it delivers what is promised. This is truly the only vintage strat sounding pickup set I have ever used that does not buzz to insanity with a gainy pedalboard. Battery pack on the back is also a great idea, makes the battery a non issue. Expensive but worth it. I do miss the bridge tone control a bit but not a deal breaker.

Influenced by Fluence

Hum... what hum? gone! totally gone, as the kids would say "TOTES GONE!" No more 60 cycle hum, no matter what position the switch is in. These pickups sound absolutely amazing. Clean and pristine you still get the beautiful strat sound too. Like the 50s style sound? you got it.Like the Texas over wound sound? you got it. Bottom tone knob pulls out for the Texas over wound sound. Keep the tone pushed in.. ya gots the 50s style sound.. what's not to love? Volume control: I've always had issues with the volume control it's either all the way down or all the way up full blast. Guess what, this loaded pickguard volume control is hands down the most linear ever. Bold statement right? Yes you will be astounded by twisting the volume control. Complete control no matter where the knob is.. start at 1 go all the way to 10 and every level in between just as smooth and pretty as you please. Installation: Definitely was a breeze. You have to solder a few thing spots here and there. If you're handy with a soldering iron it will be easy peezy. Hell if I can do it anybody can. Battery: You're going to need a 9 volt battery.. There are a few options for a power supply. There is a really nice lithium battery pack you can buy that installs beautifully on the back of the guitar. Or you can buy a separate 9 volt lithium battery a 9 volt cadmium or 9 volt nickel–metal hydride rechargeable and last but not least a 9 volt lead acid battery. For my set up I took out the center tremolo spring slapped some velcro on the NiMH battery and inside the spring cavity, fit the battery between the tremolo springs and BAM I was off and running. The battery sticks out just a touch but it's not enough to notice. I played at a party for four hours and didn't even know the battery was there. The NiMH battery has lasted for several hours of practice and play time. Since I'm now obsessed with these pups I've been playing/practicing ever since I loaded the pickguard. No battery issues at all. Sean Geyer is a great guy I've been working with since I've been buying from Sweetwater. Sean gave me a great deal on 2 NiMH batteries and a charger that charges every rechargeable battery you can imagine.Greg Koch loves these pups and has a designed these for a tele. Highly recommend you check out his youtube stuff.
