    Great Tuner!

    I bought this to replace a Snark tuner that broke after the third time I used it. This thing is great, easy to use and accurate. The only thing that stopped me from giving it five stars is the size of the display, a little on the small side, but in all fairness, at my age (50+), most things are getting hard to see. I plan on buying more for each of my basses so I can keep one in each case.

    Good for Standard Tuning

    Great for on the fly standard tuning. However, if you drop tune, it has a great deal of trouble determining what the hell just happened.

    Simple=great for beginners

    All my 3rd and 4th graders learn guitar in class. These tuners are wonderfully simple for them to use. Can't set temperament, no reference pitch, no transposition all are nice for the classroom so that nobody hits the wrong button. It even tells the kids what string number they are playing so they can make sure they are tuning correctly.
    Not incredibly durable, but that fits with the low price. Only 2 broke out of 40 in a year. Not bad for 30-40 3rd graders at a time 8 classes per week. Plus, I can glue the broken ones to the guitar and they work just fine.

    Terrible packaging

    The battery cover is held in with an incredibly small Phillips screw. If the battery goes dead during a show - you will be retuning by ear. I must have 30 Phillips screwdrivers including jewelers tools around the house and nothing would fit it. Took me half an hour just to install the battery that came with it.

    A good tuner bad design

    I own an older version of this tuner and it is great. The older version of this tuner had a battery cover that was held closed by a slide in plastic tab. The new tuner battery cover is held in by an impossibly small screw, very Inconvenient. The smallest screwdriver in my garage was almost to big for the screw.

    Poor quality tuner does not deserve Fender name

    Poor quality, After 6 months the tuner died I thought it was the battery bought new ones and still could not turn on tuner.
