    Amazing guitar

I'm Yamaha guy. I own a lot of electric and acoustic guitars from Yamaha. Let's say every model made by Yamaha I own. Almost. I play guitar for over 40 years. I've seen a lot of good and bad guitars. This guitar FGX 800C is incredible good. No problem with action and intonation right out the box. And believe me, there is no big difference between expensive guitars like Taylor or Martin. I've tried them all with comparison to FGX 800C. If you're person with a tight budget, don't hesitate and grab Yamaha FGX 800. This guitar is just for you. And knowing quality and materials used in Yamaha guitars you'll will be keeping this guitar forever.

I am just starting to learn guitar but have a very good ear for sound and know when an instrument is producing a good tone. I am excited that I could get such quality for the price! If you are wondering whether to purchase or not and this is in your price range DO NOT hesitate you wont be disappointed!

    outstanding for the price

I played a lot of guitars while shopping and there where a lot of good, but more expensive, guitars in the list of the ones I played (don't remember models or all the guitars, there was a seagull and a martin in there), but when I picked up this one I was genuinely surprised. The action and string gauge felt super nice right off the bat, along with the unpolished neck, making it feel very playable to me. The acoustic sound was a good blend of low and middle, with a less prominent high rang, without lacking anything. It plays well with chords, as well as picking individual notes, which gives it a feel that makes me want to play all day long. At this price, I would say it might be one of the best all around guitars I've played (only the second one I've owned behind a hand-me-down estaban cheap guitar). I haven't played much with the electronics other than the built in tuner, which is pretty accurate, and testing it in store, but I tested it on the most expensive amp there, so that doesn't say as much about the guitars electronics. Overall, because of the relatively low price and the outstanding performance so far, I give this a well deserved 5 stars for Yamaha.
