Tap Into That Jumbo Mojo

With the Guild F-50 acoustic guitar in your hands, you'll have no trouble being heard. Thanks to the F-50's jumbo body and Guild's trademark arched back, you'll get amazing volume and projection, and an exceptionally wide dynamic range for more expressive performances. Rich, bold tone comes courtesy of the solid Sitka spruce top and laminate maple back and sides. Factor in the F-50's fast three-piece neck, and buttery bound ebony fingerboard, and you've got one impressive axe. The Guild F-50 - to play it is to love it.

Guild F-50 Acoustic Guitar at a Glance:
  • Exceptional volume and projection
  • Solid spruce top for rich tone that enhances with age
  • Premium features abound in this splendid instrument
Exceptional volume and projection

You'll be impressed by the volume you can get from the Guild F-50, due to the arched back and jumbo body style. That means you'll be able to play with nuance, flowing between delicate passages and aggressive runs. Where other guitars may top out and start to sound indistinct, the F-50 remains clear and focused.

Solid spruce top for rich tone that enhances with age

Guild knows that the choice of top wood can make or break the sound of an acoustic guitar. For the F-50, Guild chose a solid Sitka spruce top. Chosen as much for its look as its tone, solid spruce has a bold sound with excellent projection. And because it's a solid-wood top, the tone of your F-50 will age gracefully, with enhanced harmonics and greater tonal balance as the years go by.

Premium features abound in this splendid instrument

Guild pulled out all the stops with the F-50. Fine touches abound in this sumptuous guitar, including scalloped red spruce bracing; an ebony headcap with guild shield logo; a dovetail neck joint with slim heel; a lightweight laminated birch tail block; a 30' radius top; a black/white striped rosette with abalone center ring; mother-of-pearl/abalone v-block position inlays; body, fingerboard, and headstock binding; a tortoise-shell pickguard; a dual-action truss rod; bone nut, saddle and bridge pins - and more.

Guild F-50 Acoustic Guitar Features:
  • Jumbo acoustic guitar with exceptional volume and projection
  • Solid Sitka spruce top will enhance in tone as the wood ages
  • Arched back enhances projection and volume
  • Wide dynamic range allows for very expressive performance
  • Gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish
You'll want to keep the Guild F-50 for a lifetime!

Superb in all ways

Everything about this instrument is top notch. The attention to detail is awesome. The looks and sound are unbelievable. Plays great. Sounds like a jumbo should sound. What else need I say?

Awesome Jumbo!

This is an awesome sounding Jumbo! Very sweet tone and playability is excellent! I have owned a Gibson J200 and it is very dead sounding compared to the Guild. The F50 is not loud in a way that offends but it projects the warm, clear sound of the guitar whereas the Gibson Jumbo does not. The Gibson has more bling, but less WOW! Made in the USA,, the quality of the guitar woods and the fit and finish was noticeably better than the Gibson as well. I own a Martin D18 as I think it is the best dreadnaught made and I believe there is no better jumbo you can buy than the Guild F50.
