I've always loved playing a 12 string, I've owned a few over the years and played countless models in music stores but they've always had one thing in common---they always caused severe hand fatigue for my left hand. I've never been able to play any 12 string for an extended amount of time because of the pain they would cause my left hand. This guitar is the first 12 string I've ever been able to play for just as long as I can play my 6 string acoustic. The neck feels almost like a 6 stringer, the thickness actually does feel like one, it's just a little bit wider. The action is just unbelievable, I've had 6 string acoustics that didn't have as good of action as this guitar has. I can comfortably fret any position on the neck all the way up to the body. When the guitar arrived I figured I'd have an hour of tuning ahead of me but to my surprise it was actually nearly perfectly in tune. I had to make a small adjustment to the low e string but that was the only string that was noticeably out of tune. It has a nice full sound, very rich sounding. I've always heard that Guild makes the best 12 strings and I believe it. Don't let the fact that this model is made in China fool you, it's an excellent sounding and extremely playable guitar. With most 12 strings the most I can play is about 15 minutes before I have to put the guitar down to rest my hand, I played this one for a couple of hours and only stopped then because my finger tips were hurting from not having my callouses built up like they used to be. I would highly recommend this guitar to anyone looking for a great 12 string.
