    MADE TO BE PLAYED!!!!

GUILD'S SLOGAN SAYS IT ALL. "MADE TO BE PLAYED" AND WHAT IS NICE AND TRUE BLUE; IS THE INSTRUMENT, ACTUALLY DOES SOUND BETTER THE MORE YOU PLAY THEM. THEY CAPTURE YOU TONALITY AND TALENT RIGHT OUT OF THE CASE.

    Guild F150RCE

30 gains per inch across the top, back and sides match in color and grain; Neck, frets, and board are fine. Almost 5" deep, 17" wide. Construction almost flawless--a small amount of glue squeezed out from under one back brace. The Fishman electronics were barely adequate. The best thing I can say about the F150RCE? It's buries the competition, just like its older brother, the F50R. Gibson, Martin...forget them. Not even close. Deep, rich tone, excellent playability, and they'll ring 'til the cows come home.

    shear awesomeness

I went into sweerwater store (awesome store) to purchase guild d125 but made mistake of checking out guild f150rce jumbo. I purchased f150rce and I couldnt be happier. Ease of play, tone, sound projection and construction are all spot on, perfect. I compared it to other more expensive acoustics and this one can more then compete. Do check it out. My only disappointment was the guilds were not out. I had to ask for them. I was told they were in warehouse. It took them about 10 minutes to get the guitars. Not a big deal but if I hadnt asked I would have assumed they were out of stock. So if you go into store ask for them . I doubt you will be disapoointed in this guitar

    Excellent

What a sweet sounding guitar. This guitar plays easy and sounds great. It is heavier than the Taylor 615 I used to play and lighter than my older Jumbo Guild. I am used to using a heavy pick but that didn't serve this F150RCE well for me. I find that a very light pick gives it the richest tone overall. Strumming in front of the sound hole is the best. It is plenty loud me with the light pick. It balances well with a strap. Sustain is very good specially with the e and b strings. I have been playing this regularly for over a year now and it sounds better today than when I first got it. When I switched to a higher tensioned string I had to make a small adjustment to the neck. The Sweetwater staff was very knowledgeable and easy to deal with. I really appreciate how they go out of their way to find honest answers to my questions even if it means talking to a different rep than my main guy. Service has been excellent with them.
