Seagull's quest for tone gives you a better playing and sounding guitar

Robert Godin, owner of Seagull Guitars, has never been satisfied with good enough. His tireless search for the better guitar has created quite a few innovations that go into every guitar model that Seagull makes. Every Entourage Rustic Grand's top is pressure tested for rigidity and stiffness to ensure maximum harmonic vibration. The unique compound-curved top adds structural integrity to the guitar and allows for thinner bracing. Take it from the Sweetwater crew - the Seagull Entourage Rustic Grand will give you years of great performance.

Innovative neck construction and mounting delivers killer playability and tone

The attention and care given to each Seagull shows in their looks, playability, and tone. Seagull has also taken extra care to ensure that the Entourage Rustic Grand's neck helps create an amazing guitar experience. An acoustic guitar's neck is more than just a fretboard used for playing, it also creates the guitar's tone. Seagull's Integrated Set Neck gives your guitar the sound you want and the stability you need in a performing guitar. This system provides stable and consistent action that also reduces warping and twisting. Thanks to this integrated system, the Entourage Rustic Grand's neck pitch is perfectly set. If it's too far forward the instrument will sound muddy, or if it's too far back the guitar will sound tinny. Seagull's design assures optimized sound and playability with these and other innovations found in the entire Seagull line.

Handcrafted in Canada for more than a quarter of a century

For over 25 years, Seagull guitars have been handcrafted in the small village of La Patrie in eastern Quebec. About half of the population works creating these exquisite guitars. All of the guitars in the Seagull line are made in Canada from the S6 Original models to the Maritime models to the top-of-the-line Artist series guitar. Most of the tonewoods are also harvested from Canadian forests. You'll love the attention to detail, the quality tonewoods, and Seagull's commitment to make the best guitar possible. Grab a Seagull Entourage Rustic Grand and experience the difference.

Beyond All Expectations

For the money, I don't think you can find a sweeter guitar anywhere. I am a small woman who prefers playing small guitars. Generally this means "baby" "little" or 3/4 sized guitars as well as a few parlors. I've also owned and later sold a few higher end Martins and Taylors. Just too darn big for me. With the resurgence of Parlors in recent years I started looking for something comfortable and playable. Maybe there was something out there? This guitar fits the bill perfectly. Fit and finish are amazing. More important is playability which it has in spades. It's easy on the hands, the action is spot on and it just hums with sustain unlike any small guitar I've played. I'm pleased it's made by our neighbors in Canada. The generic pics on this site don't do this guitar justice. It's really pretty and not at all orange. The only thing that is kind of icky is the ugly headstock. But that I can live with. I bought this guitar without having the opportunity to play it as it is not carried in stores in my area. However, I did play just about every parlor and small guitar in my local stores and they just don't compare to the sound and playability of this one- and this includes much more expensive guitars as well as those with solid wood throughout. I even went back to my local stores after I bought this one to make sure I wasn't crazy. Is this guitar really fantastic? Yeah, it is. And for hardly any money! Finally, if you're headed towards arthritis in your hands as I am, this guitar is a great choice. I don't know how Seagull does it- Canadian guitar elves perhaps? Thanks also to Will Crisp for getting this to me quick and also for the tootsie rolls. Yum.

Perfect size & great sound

Bought this guitar for my wife. She is a pretty small person and needed something smaller than the dreadnought she was learning on. This guitar is absolutely beautiful in person. The rustic burst looks great and has an orange-brown appearance. Even though it's small, it produces a good amount of volume. The included strings are Cleartone Light .012-.053 Phosphor Bronze. They sound great after breaking them in, but if you prefer D'Addario strings (like me) you may want to purchase the EXP16 lights with this guitar. Overall it sounds great & my wife and I couldn't be happier. Thanks Sweetwater!

Small but loud

I am only a novice. I bought the electronic version of this guitar. I have 4 full size dreadnaught guitars, this is my favorite. sounds great either way plugged in or not. People are amazed at the tone and volume this guitar has. Workmanship is A one I couldn't find one thing wrong with it. Great guitar for everyone regardless of your experience.

What I expected from Seagull and Sweetwater!

I've been a fan of Seagull for years, never owned one. This deal was too good to pass up. Great sound, perfectly set up right out of the box. Changed the strings to my preference, that was it. Arrived when promised, packaged beyond any possibility of damage.
