Works but.....

I ordered one of these to use on my Hammond XK3 instead of the small Roland stereo volume pedal I've used for 10 years. When I opened the box I was amazed to see what a cheaply built pedal this was for the price. This feels like a $30 piece and it's nothing like what you'd find under a real B3. This pedal is lightweight plastic and feels cheap under your foot. It was a custom order or else I would have returned it and experimented with some of my other expression pedals (like the $40 Moog which feels positively heavy duty by comparison). I've always felt like Hammond Suzuki has been pimping the price and name but this pedal is really not up to even their normal quality. You must go into the organ menu and calibrate the expression pedal to the organ and set the pedal to be active, after doing this it works ok but for someone raised on a real B3 this feels like a flimsy toy under your foot. I'd look for something better or cheaper or both. IMO this one is a loser and should be avoided unless you have no other option. It does at least function so it's got that going for it. Good music to all!
