Get Great Acoustic Tone with Long String Life!

An ultra-fine layer of EXP Coating is bonded to the phosphor bronze wrap wire which is then wound onto a NY High Carbon Steel core hex-shaped core wire. The result is a built-in barrier against the corrosion and wear that can quickly sap the life out of your strings and your sound. Sweetwater knows that choosing the perfect string is vital to a musician's sound. EXP coated phosphor bronze strings have a natural feel and sound warm and bright with a new-string tone that lasts three to four times longer than traditional guitar strings.

D'Addario - Making strings for over 300 years

Behind every set of D'Addario strings are over three centuries of fine craftsmanship. The D'Addario family tradition began in the tiny town of Salle, Italy in 1680 where they made assorted instrument strings for over two hundred years before relocating to New York in 1905. As the modern string making industry began to develop, the D'Addario family emerged as innovators by designing the winding machine most string makers still use today. And while their techniques have modernized, the pride that goes into each set of strings dates back to the D'Addario family's earliest roots.

Perfect string for studio musician!!!!

For the las 10 years of making a living as studio musician. D'Addario is the only string I trust. Do not believe any bushit about nano web. It's gonna make your guitar sound cheaper!!! You can feel how deep the low string is. But you can't expect the string to have that long live.

D'Addario EXP17 Acoustic Strings

These strings saved my acoustic guitar from the "for sale" pile.Bright, non-twangy, install easily, ..... and sound great .... now they are all I use for acoustics.Try them if your guitar seems dead or has other troubles.Good price and Sweetwater delivery and availability are tops. One caveat - beware of string ends popping through the plastic internal packaging ; I got a bloody finger from one when removing the pack from the box.
Music background: classical, choral, r-n-r, metal, historical
