    Best string for the bucks

I've used every brand of string there is. Even Thomastik-Infeld high dollar sets, when I went back and tried the lower priced A'Addario 9-42s & 9-46s for my Les Paul's, I was blown away by the quality of the tones, intonation how long lasting these puppies really are. I buy packs of 10 in each size and really I do not plan to go back to the mega expensive ones. These sound amazing and last a long time. Never had an issue w them in many, many years. For the cost these D'Addario are silly good, nothing is really any better.

    Fastest Tuning Strings I've Used

I've used D'Addario 9's for over 15 years. I change strings before every show and I need a string that stretches and holds pitch as fast as possible. I've tried several other brands and I'm convinced that D'Addario strings stretch, break in and hold tune faster than anything else I've tried. After installing the new strings I'll give them a stretch and re-tune. I repeat that process twice and D'Addarios are ready to play live and hold tune. I stretch and re-tune other brands 5 or 6 times before they seems to settle in and keep pitch.

These strings are not too bright, and not too dark. I like the nice medium tone they give as well.

    Why Buy Cheapies?

I used to buy generic strings on the web in order to 'save money'. The online strings are supposedly "just as good as name-brand', but that is debatable. And my gauge is usually out of stock.
Sweetwater supplies me with the actual strings I want, I get them fast, and at a great price.
My music isn't generic...why should my strings be?

    Good strings you can trust

Back when I changed strings on my first guitar, my guitar teacher recommended D'addario strings. While I have tried other strings over the years, D'addario has always been the brand that I've trusted ever since. There's really nothing I can complain about, they're affordable, they sound great, and they last a good long time. Without a doubt, I would recommend these for both new and veteran players.

    Reliable Strings

These are very good strings. I played them for about six months before I ever tried anything else because I was so happy with them. I use Ernie Balls because they feel a bit better, but Daddario's are still 2nd best.
